Agios Ioannis is a sandy beach with small pebbles a few kilometers from Livadi on Serifos. There are trees along the coast which provide some shade, and it is not organized with umbrellas and chairs. It can be quite windy at times.

SUBSCRIBE: - Let's visit the beautiful Greek island of Serifos and let's go to its beautiful beaches which are ideal to relax and enjoy some peaceful days under the sun. Only a few Serifos beaches are organized with tourist facilities, such as Livadi and Livadakia. The majority of Serifos beaches are secluded and perfect for total privacy.

We are going to review the main beaches and we are going to place them in 3 categories: the Good (must visit beaches), the Bad (visit if you have time only) and the Ugly (the ones to avoid).

The beaches we will review are: Agios Sostis, Psili Ammos, Sykamia, Vagia, Ganema, Livadakia, Agios Ioannis, Platis Yialos, Koutalas, Megalo Livadi, Livadi
Serifos is a Greek island municipality in the Aegean Sea, located in the western Cyclades, south of Kythnos and northwest of Sifnos. It is part of the Milos regional unit. The area is 75.207 square kilometres and the population was 1,420 at the 2011 census. It is located about 170 kilometres ESE of Piraeus.
Greece is a country in southeastern Europe with thousands of islands throughout the Aegean and Ionian seas. Influential in ancient times, it's often called the cradle of Western civilization. Athens, its capital, retains landmarks including the 5th-century B.C. Acropolis citadel with the Parthenon temple. Greece is also known for its beaches, from the black sands of Santorini to the party resorts of Mykonos.

Agios Sostis is a large, sandy beach - one of the most beautiful of the island, on the northern coast. On the beach you will not find umbrellas and sun loungers or beach bars. It used to be the nudist beach, and is pet-friendly. For dining, there is an old tavern which operates only at lunchtime, and only offers salads and charcoal-grilled food because it has no electricity.

HIKING TO CHRISSOPIGI SIFNOS GREECE

1st route - took the bus from Artemonas to Platy Gialos and got off the stop for Chrissopigi
2nd route - took the bus from Artemonas to Faros
My vote is on 2nd route; beautiful scenery and walk much easier. Not as hilly as 1st route.

Underwater love monument in Serifos

I found this little underwater love monument in the sea of Agios Sostis in Serifos Island. It lays for 10 meters and 2-3 meters deep at the bottom of the sea. Someone was in real deep love to build such a thing.
