We stayed at #Paras Beach Resort in #Mambajao, #Camiguin Island. This was actually the first resort that popped up when we were looking for an accommodation online. We thought that this is just an ordinary resort but we were surprised at the moment we arrived there! It's insanely beautiful!

Even though the resort is so amazingly awesome, you can't swin in their beach. It's not good. You have to go to the White island which is very near from the resort. ( watch out for the 3rd part of our Camiguin island travel vlog)

For our island tour, it was already included in the package we have availed. Here is our itinerary:

Where to stay in Camiguin Island | Philippines

Before we went to Camiguin I booked our accommodation at Paguia. I got their contact number in the internet. The Standard room is Php 1,600 good for 4-5 pax but the man that I've talked to said he can give the room for us for Php 1,300 maybe because it was lean season already so he gave us a discounted rate.
When we arrived the receptionist told us that the cottages in the compound were already full so they put us in their extension cottage, it is just few minutes from the main compound. When we got there I was amazed with the place. Because for Php 1,300 we got a clean and complete accommodation and the room is good for 6-8 pax.
Paguia's Cottage is just 3 minutes walk to the jumping off point for White Island. Finding food here is not a problem. There's a carinderia near the cottage and few restaurants around. You can also buy fresh meat from their Public market and cook it at the cottage. The cottage has stove, griller, refrigator, plates and kitchen utensils. They provide clean towels and a tissue roll. You just have to bring soap, shampoo, toothpaste and drinking water.

I can say that the place is safe and peaceful.
You can also arrange your White island tour with them.

We are planning to go back in Camiguin and for sure I will book there again. I was satisfied with the amenities and the staffs were very accomodating.

If you cannot book at this place do not worry because there are plenty of accomodation in this area.

TV09 Travel Vlog | Bahay Bakasyunan, Mambajao, Camiguin

#Camiguin is my maternal grandparents' hometown so it holds a special place in my heart. So many good childhood memories of beach trips, cousins, celebrations, and family there.

We've always opted to stay at our family #cottage in #Yumbing/#RockyVillage or at #ParasBeachResort (which is right in front of our cottage) but this time around we decided to give #BahayBakasyunan a try, for a change. I'm glad we did because the place is lovely!

Private. Clean. Beautiful & spacious rooms. Just in Mambajao which is the main city of Camiguin. It's close to tourist spots like #KatibawasanFalls and #ArdentHotSpring.

You pay a bit more, but in my opinion, it's definitely worth it.
