Things To Do In Yilan County Taiwan
I’ve been planning (or let’s say tempted) to visit Taiwan several times last year, ever since they have lifted visas for Filipinos entering the country. I came close to booking a flight during one of the local airline’s seats sale but unfortunately, things didn’t really work out as planned (dreamed). Good thing, before 2018 came to a close, I got a chance to visit Taiwan, though not the capital, I still got to explore the country’s northeastern town, Yilan County.
Yilan is situated in Taiwan’s Northeastern coastline. Our local guide mentioned that Yilan is regarded as Taiwan’s backyard or backyard garden because it is surrounded by ocean and mountains, making it a nature-destination trip especially if you are coming from a busy city like Taipei.

AGRIOZ Museum of Candied Fruits
橘之鄉
AGRIOZ Museum of Candied Fruits used to be a candied factory, but it got reconstructed to a featured local tourist spot. The shop offers guide, tourists can visit the factory and learn some knowledge of kumquats. Candied fruits equipments are offered in the shop for tourists to experience DIY activity. DIY activity is to put fruits into salt and sugar, to make it get candied. Café serves not only coffee and waffles, but also local handmade dessert. It looks similar to pizza, but it is Yilan’s local taste. They also have shop selling many kinds of delicious products, visitors can taste before buying.
About transportation, take 755 Bus and get off at AGRIOZ Museum of Candied Fruits.

過年去哪裡，才不會人擠人？接下來把時間，交給主播黃柏齡跟莊雨潔，帶您去祕境，走一走。保證沒去過，今天帶您來到宜蘭員山鄉，私房景點，叫做太陽埤，不只生態保留完整，進入秋冬運氣好還可以看到丹頂鶴喔，青山綠樹倒映在湖面上，清幽的環境，安靜湖面沒有一點波瀾，偶有小鳥飛過劃破平靜。
這裡就是好山好水的宜蘭太陽埤，地點相當隱密，要是沒有熟人帶，還真的有點難找，即使是宜蘭當地居民，都很少人知道有這個私房景點，尤其現在正是入秋，還會吸引不少候鳥來作客。
剛剛不是說，這個湖長的像螃蟹嗎，其實這裡原本是叫蟳管埤，平面看不出來，從高空照可就一清二楚，模樣還真的很像隻螃蟹，伸出右手的鉗子的模樣，可別以為這裡只有湖有看頭，在行家的帶路下，還可以看到原始生態，這種幾乎已經絕種的二葉松。
這樣美麗的風光景色也吸引了新人來拍婚紗照，沒有受到破壞的生態，拍出來的照片特別美，就連路邊的白色土芭樂花和金針花海，都像在跟您招手問好，這樣原始美景，當然也成了攝影師們的私人寫真密境。
想來太陽埤這美麗密境嗎，這裡還真的有點隱密，從宜18線走到底可以看到太陽埤的路牌，一直順著山路往上走，山路盡頭看到一棟白色的民宅，這裡就是太陽埤的入口了，如果還找不到，問問民宅主人，他就會熱心的告訴你這片美景的神秘入口。

社區同心產業再造 重現木屐工藝之美

在宜蘭縣蘇澳鎮有個匯合人文歷史的白米社區，將原先沒落的產業──「木屐」工藝，運用眾人的力量，再次將之發揚光大。
當地舊名為白米甕，甕是裝米的容器，但白米是指順著白米溪涓流而下的石頭，更象徵當地居民如白石般堅毅、單純，只為將木屐工藝永續傳承下去，喚起大家對於古老傳藝的重視的心；白米社區精雕細琢的手工製作，更吸引許多遊客到此一探究竟。走一趟「白米木屐村」品味工藝之美，也能確切地感受到社區的團結意識。
