Japanese Bathhouse (Aichi, 1900s)
The public bathhouse, along with the barber's shop, was an essential part of the town life in Japan of the Meiji period. The bathhouse Azuma-yu was probably built in the 1900s, and though smaller in size (only 18 feet wide), is typical. It stood near the harbor of Kamesaki, Handa City, Aichi Prefecture. It is a plain two-storied wooden building and the wall is of Japanese battened siding. The building is separated into the men's and women's bathhouses, each consisting of a dressing room and a bathroom. This bathhouse was rebuilt in the Meiji-Mura in 1980

Koala at the Higashiyama Zoo, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, August in 2019, Japan★東山動物園★コアラ★
It costs a lot of money for koala food eucalyptus.
It costs US$70,000 or US$80,000 or more a year for only one koala.
There are many kinds of eucalyptus and each koala eats different eucalyptus.
Here, at the Higashiyama zoo, they started to grow eucalyptus by themselves,
some other zoos gave up keeping koalas in Japan, but we still have some koalas at the Higashiyama zoo.
I like koala, they are so cute. I hope they keep koalas here.
