Bring the kids and climb aboard fighter jets, helicopters and anti-aircraft gunnery. Turn the propeller of a real WW-II fighter; the engine is still in place…you can actually feel the compression as you move the prop. Where else can you fulfill your Top Gun fantasies? When you are done with your tour of real war-time aircraft, the kids can play on a multitude of playground equipment while you relax at the small snack bar or read a book available at the library in the back of the concessions area. This place is guaranteed to satisfy the entire family.

This channel is about living a life as a foreigner and expat in the Philippines. I was born and grow up in Sweden but moved to the United States in 1992 at age 38. Getting close to retirement I started looking for some opportunities to live abroad and in early 2013 I did meet my wife Janice. (Filipina) After 15 months of dating and travel back and forth we got married in august of 2014 and I decided to move to Philippines in December of 2014 to be with my wife. (She is one exemption from the rule - she is a home girl and did not want to live in USA or Sweden.
This channel and our website will cover many aspects and subjects of a life in Philippines. Our mission is to have fun while we make our videos, and hope that our viewers will and enjoy and also get some Q & A’s answered in videos and on our web-site.

Air Force City at Clark, Pampanga
Clark Air Base was originally established as Fort Stotsenburg in Sapang Bato, Angeles in 1903 under control of the U.S. Army. A portion of Fort Stotsenburg was officially set aside for the Aviation Section of the Signal Corps and named Clark Field in September 1919 after Harold M. Clark.

Air Force City golf course in Clark Philippines
Looking for a new place to play golf in Pampanga? Try the rustic 18-hole Air Force City golf course, also called Mckinney, along the main highway coming into Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, Philippines.
The Air Force City golf course is a short 6200-yard par-70 18-hole course, deceptively challenging even for seasoned golfers but it is a lot of fun for beginners also. Fairways are anything but manicured so local rules almost always allow for preferred lies. Greens are very small so hitting them even from just 130 yards out is not a no-brainer by any stretch. The green-side bunkers are quite deep. Sand is a mostly mixed with volcanic ash or laha.

Clark Air Base, Philippines~~Past and PRESENT
When I speak with someone about being assigned in the Philippines, one question is always asked: whatever happened to Clark, Subic Bay, and the other US military bases after Mt. Pinatubo erupted?
My purpose in producing this video is to show the many facets of life as it moves on after the Mt. Pinatubo event.
This feature was produced in a way that will help viewers links Past and Present memorable on-base scenes.
If you've spent time in the Philippines, or planning a visit soon, I Hope this presentation will offer the many fine points to look forward to. Of the 7-thousand or so islands that make up Philippines, the main island of Luzon is a great place to start.
Enjoy this video treasure, as you view the richness of a Pacific paradise that is very much alive and well.
Many of us who have departed are quite envious of fellow expats who have remained near Clark, Subic Bay,
John Hay/ Baguio, and other jewels of the Pacific.
In the words of World War II's General Douglas MacArthur, who remarked on the subject of supporting the war effort in the Philippines: Yes! I certainly will return...

Before we dive into all the particulars, I want to thank Capital One for sponsoring today's video/blog post!
They actually have the only travel rewards credit card that I personally use and recommend.
They're the sole reason I haven't paid for a plane ticket in a very LONNNNNGGGGG time ???? (we'll get back to that in a moment)!
They're currently running a promotion and giving away 20,000 bonus miles once you're approved for your card.
I'm not saying that you're going to get approved if you use the links below.
However, let's just say you may get some of that amazing Rocco Brown treatment since i'm the person that referred you ????
Use this link if you have good credit:

Now that we got that out the way...
Me and the young lady decided to tackle the Air Force City Clark Park and Clark Museum today for a fun day trip. She had never been to a museum before nor had she experienced the Air Force park.
I hadn't experienced either of these two particular places myself, so, I figured it would be a good experience for both of us to check out.
We woke up early and headed to Air Force City Clark Park first! We booked a grab: (equivalent to Uber) and arrived at our destination in a timely fashion.
The park didn't have an entry fee and we made our rounds capturing photos/videos of the old aircraft's on display.
After approximately an hour, we booked another grab ( and made our way over to the museum.
The cost of admission was 150 (php) per person, so we got our tickets and headed inside!
The museum had so much amazing information and I had the opportunity to experience this culture even more!
After approximately 2 hours, we finished up with our tour and called it a day!
I would definitely recommend checking out both locations if you have the opportunity to do so. #RoccosWorldTour #IDidItMyWay #TravelContinuously
