Video of my Hot Air Balloon flight in first ever Taj Balloon Festival which was held in Agra, India from 14 - 16 Nov 2015.
Air safari at Rishikesh Uttarakhand | Adventure sports India
Enjoy air safari at Airfield Rishikesh Uttarakhand This place is in between Haridwar, Rishikesh and Dehradun.

On one side of air field we have Rajaji national park and on other side we have Jolly Grant airport Dehradun.
It took me 1 hour to reach this place from Rishikesh. There are two types of adventure sports that happen at this place:
Air safari- This happens at height of 400 to 600 feet above ground. Average flight duration is 10 to 12 minutes and can go upto 1 hour basis requirement of traveler.
Hot air balloon - This happens at height of 200 to 250 feet, Balloon is kept stable at one location only, it does not move, like air safari.
This is one of the super cool adventure sports of Rishikesh, we have all heard rafting, Bungee jumping but very few people are aware about air safari at Rishikesh.
Important things to know about air safari:
You need to book in advance, there are approvals that they need to take from airport authorities.
Booking can get cancelled for reasons like weather, some urgent flights at airport etc.
Flight timings - Morning 5 am to evening 6 pm summers and morning 6.30 am to evening 5 pm in winters.
Best time to undertake flying is early morning especially during summers.

Taj Balloon Festival 2016: Agra Like You've Never Seen Before
The second edition of the annual Taj Balloon Festival is back.
15 balloons from 12 different countries, flying thousands of feet above the sea level, have participated to enliven the skies of Agra. With highly-experienced pilots, including two women pilots, and crew from India and across the world, this Taj Balloon Festival brings along mesmerizing night glow event during evenings and tethering flights in the mornings.
