AIRPLANE GRAVEYARD Bangkok - A Photographers Dream
A day of urban exploration at the Airplane Graveyard in Bangkok just outside the city limits had us completely in awe! This secret bangkok thailand tourist spot is a photographers dream destination!!
One of Bangkok’s top abandoned places, you can get to the Airplane Graveyard by car, motorbike or tuk tuk in about 30 minutes from Bangkok’s center city. Pay a small fee to the owners of the property (200 Baht per person in 2018) and enjoy one of the most underrated things to do in Bangkok. Be on the lookout for these kids who will insist on being your Tour Guides! They also insist on getting paid for their time ????
This is our second Bangkok Thailand vlog in a two month series of thailand videos! While visiting Bangkok, we highly recommend getting away from all of the traditional bangkok tourists spots and heading to the air plane graveyard. If you like urban exploration or enjoy taking photos, you’ll love this hidden photographers dream destination.
* Unlike other travel vloggers, we live and work in a different country each month. Our channel will show you what it’s like to live abroad while exploring top tourist destinations and hidden gems. We will eat local cuisine but still find the best spots to have American food while overseas. Each month we rent an apartment or airbnb in a different city or country, so follow along on this journey and learn about countries around the world. We hope you enjoy our travel vlog, don’t forget to subscribe!

AIRPLANE GRAVEYARD in BANGKOK THAILAND
Just outside of BANGKOK, THAILAND awaits an exciting AIRPLANE GRAVEYARD. The sight is run by a family that lives on the grounds. You have to pay the family 200 TBH each ($6.57 USD) but it is totally worth the experience. If you’re the more adventurous type, this is a great thing to do while in the city.
MAJOR TIP: Online it says that the Airplane Graveyard opens at 9AM. This is misleading because the family lives on the property and let us in 40 minutes early around 8:20AM. This way you beat everyone there and can play on airplanes in peace and quiet!

AIRPLANE GRAVEYARD | Abandoned Places | BANGKOK, THAILAND
We visit two of the many abandoned places in Bangkok. We start off with the airplane graveyard and are fascinated by the airplanes. It was crazy to witness the airplanes in their current state, especially since we are constantly traveling and on airplanes. One of the jets was involved in a fatal crash which made it even more spookier. We end of our abandoned exploring with the Sunkist basketball court.

???? Thailand Travel Guide: Bangkok Airplane Graveyard
Again I am showing you cool places in Bangkok.
To begin with I wanted to visit airplane graveyard for a long time and finally made it. This place is really cool, especially I think for men)
There are nose sections of two Boeing 747s and two smaller MD-82 jetliners lying in pieces since 2010. The MD-82 model was involved in a fatal 89 person crash at Phuket International Airport in 2007 which may explain why there were being scrapped.

Bangkok Airplane Graveyard - EXPLORING THE AIRPLANE GRAVEYARD OF BANGKOK
EXPLORING THE AIRPLANE GRAVEYARD OF BANGKOK
The airplane graveyard of Bangkok is one of the city’s more unusual attractions. It won’t be found in most guidebooks but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t plan a visit to this quirky spot in Bangkok. I haven’t seen many photos from the airplane graveyard but as someone that loves planes and exploring abandoned places this seemed like a great way to spend an afternoon in Bangkok and see what this place had to offer.

That's why I am now running this video blog showing you how to travel the world continuously
FAQ:
How did you learn to edit?
I taught myself. I downloaded Premiere Pro and began to figure out how to use it through trial and error. My videos were pretty bad at first but eventually, and with the help of many tutorials, you start to figure out what works.
Premiere Pro Link:
What work are you doing?
I started off running this video blog while doing freelance web design and video editing to supplement my travelling lifestyle. I now rely solely on this blog to generate revenue through advertising, affiliate links and sponsorship opportunities.
How do you meet the people in your videos?
Hostels, guesthouses and conversations! You meet people so easily while travelling. Just open yourself up and you will meet all sorts of amazing people.
'
Where do you live?
Right now, I travel the world continuously and so do not have a permanent base or home anywhere. I am not sure how long this is going to be the situation but right now I just want to keep travelling.

Plane Graveyard Bangkok
Ramkhamhaeng Road Soi 101 here we find in the middle of Bangkok a Plane Graveyard. Price is 500 baht to get in and than you are free to go where you want....There is the mighty Orient Thai Boeing 747-200 (the Queen of the skies) and many MD-80's from its subsidiary One-Two-Go. So sad to see these lovely giants dying slowly
AIRPLANE GRAVEYARD - Bangkok, Thailand
I had the chance to visit an airplane graveyard in Bangkok, Thailand !
One of the most impressive and unique experience of my life !
We had to pay 800 Bahts to go in, which is roughly 5€ per personnes since we were five.
Then we headed to the I.C Tower of Bangkok. This amazing 39 floors ghost tower building is abandoned and provide a unique view over Bangkok city.

AIRPLANE GRAVEYARD IN BANGKOK
Vlog Ep.26 - Week 21/52 - May - 2015
Hello you! I've got something special for you all this week: a tour around an airplane graveyard/boneyard in Bangkok.
This place was unbelievably cool and - after giving the family that live there a few hundred baht and some Oreos - we were able to freely explore the abandoned airplanes.
I've been wanting to check this place out for a while but have just never got around to going. Well, with Jade's Dad leaving to go back to England the next day I though that we could all go see what this airplane graveyard in Bangkok was like.
... It was awesome!
After exploring the abandoned airplanes and handing out some more Oreo's for the children (who doesn't love Oreo's?), we then went to Rod Fai Far Market - also known as the 'train market''.
It's been a fun week but now I'm exhausted! Have a great week and I'll see you again soon :)
Lets go on an adventure - don't forget to subscribe!

FAQs - the more you ask, the more you know. :)
- How old are you? - I was born in 1988, so if you're reading this in 2015 then I'm 27.
- Where do you live? - Bangkok, Thailand
- Where are you from? - I'm a British guy from a small town in England, UK.
- Why did you move to Bangkok? - Check out the about section on my website brettworth.com for the reason.
- Before you moved to Bangkok had you been there before? - Yep, for one whole day.

- What do you do for fun? - I take photos, scuba dive, indoor rock climbing, arrange Meetup events in Bangkok, and try to find some interesting adventures to go on.
- How did you get a job in Bangkok? - It's pretty difficult to get a job in Thailand that isn't teaching, especially with no formal qualifications (see 'did you go to university' below). For the first year I studied Thai language - I'm really not very good with languages - and I did free work for charities. I said yes to helping out a lot of people and learned a bunch of new skills.
- What Ray-Bans do you wear? - Most of the time I wear the white gold limited edition Ultra Wayfarer released in 2009 or the Wayfarer Mercury planet edition.
- What cameras do you use for your videos? - For vlogs I use a Canon S120 and sometimes a GoPro Hero 3.
- What cameras do you use for your photography? - I use either my iPhone, a Sony NEX 5N or a Canon 60D.
- What editing program do you use for videos? - Final Cut Pro on Mac
- What editing program do you use for photos? - Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Radlabs or the EyeEm editor.
- Did you go to university? - I studied photography at university for two years before I decided to drop out.
- Wait, why did you quit university? - In college I took two photography courses back to back for 3 years and found that university was basically the same thing all over again and it just wasn't challenging or worthwhile for me.
- How long do your vlogs take to edit? - Usually around 6+ hours.
