Trying to find a Vortex in Sedona, AZ - Airport Mesa Trail
A rocky climb and a beautiful view and the realization that my fear of heights is more intense than I thought. Please excuse my crap video taping, I had just bought the camera and I hate reading anything that is instructional...

Is the Sedona “Energy Vortex” real? | exploration • meditation • reflection
Sedona has a reputation for being a special place. It is said to be home to several energy vortexes (swirling centers of energy) that are conducive to healing, meditation and introspection. So are they real? In this video I explore and meditate at the Cathedral Rock vortex and give you my honest opinion on the power of this Sedona Vortex.

TRAVEL DAYS TO SEDONA ARIZONA - FAY CANYON TRAIL HIKE-EP36
Sue & I usually try to keep our “travel days” in the range of 200 to 250 miles per move. On the Interstate, I set the cruise at 64 mph, because it’s comfortable, safer and the Honda we pull has a 65 mph limit. It puts the 450 hp diesel motor in the sweet spot for the best mileage.
We are tracking mileage, and I wish I had better news. It’s about 6.5 mpg. My kids are never going to get an inheritance at this rate!
When just moving long distances, and NOT actually site seeing, some people pull into a Walmart, Cabela’s or Cracker Barrel for an overnight stay, for free. We have never done this and feel we are just too long at 65 feet to fit in easily.
This is our own insecurities,…many people this long and driving a motorhome do it. I wouldn’t blame the local kids if they tried to do burnouts around us in the parking lot at 2am,…….just to be funny. I know I would have when I was young! I also worry about getting “parked in” by someone,……and global warming.
This quick clip shows Sue wiping off the rig after our days run, with me supervising and recording the event. Then, it's my turn, and I take over,..... and cook us both a great late evening dinner. Thanks to our friend Brian for teaching me some of his barbecuing skills! The recipe I used here is actually one I created for myself over the years.
We chose to only hook up electric so we can take off early tomorrow to grind out another 201 miles. The campground showers were actually first class here,………. but you really can never beat showering at home.
We are headed to Tucson AZ for a week, Mesa AZ for a week, Sedona AZ for 10 days, then Yuma AZ for December 2018. Still wearing shorts after 17 months on the road!
On our way to Sedona Arizona, we stopped at a rest stop to eat some lunch. SUE made a wonderful beef stew the night before, and needs to get credit for it here! We were here quite a while and we didn’t notice some of the scenery till we were leaving to go into the rig to start microwaving lunch,…………….
Finally in Sedona, Sue and I went on a short 2 mile round trip hike on Saturday, 11-24-2018. It was called the Fay Canyon Trail, and was surrounded by towering sandstone mountains. The movies and pictures pale in comparison to how they look in person.

Places to see in ( Sedona - USA )
Places to see in ( Sedona - USA )
Sedona is an Arizona desert town near Flagstaff that’s surrounded by red-rock buttes, steep canyon walls and pine forests. It’s noted for its mild climate and vibrant arts community. Uptown Sedona is dense with New Age shops, spas and art galleries. On the town’s outskirts, numerous trailheads access Red Rock State Park, which offers bird-watching, hiking and picnicking spots.
Nestled amid striking red sandstone formations at the south end of the 16-mile Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona attracts spiritual seekers, artists and healers, as well as day-trippers from Phoenix trying to escape the oppressive heat. Many New Age types believe that this area is the center of vortexes (not 'vortices' here in Sedona) that radiate the earth's power, and you'll find all sorts of alternative medicines and practices on display. More tangibly, the surrounding canyons offer outstanding hiking, biking, swimming and camping.
The town itself bustles with art galleries and expensive gourmet restaurants. In summer the traffic and the crowds can be heavy. Regionally, Oak Creek Canyon begins north of Uptown Sedona; the Village of Oak Creek, however, is south of the city.
Sedona's main attraction is its array of red sandstone formations. The formations appear to glow in brilliant orange and red when illuminated by the rising or setting sun. The red rocks form a popular backdrop for many activities, ranging from spiritual pursuits to the hundreds of hiking and mountain biking trails. Sedona was named after Sedona Arabella Miller Schnebly (1877–1950), the wife of Theodore Carlton Schnebly, the city's first postmaster, who was celebrated for her hospitality and industriousness.
Sedona is located in the Upper Sonoran Desert of northern Arizona. Sedona has mild winters and hot summers. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 19.2 square miles (49.7 km2), of which 0.04 square miles (0.1 km2), or 0.22%, is water. The red rocks of Sedona are formed by a unique layer of rock known as the Schnebly Hill Formation. The Schnebly Hill Formation is a thick layer of red to orange-colored sandstone found only in the Sedona vicinity. The sandstone, a member of the Supai Group, was deposited during the Permian Period.

Our intention with the series is to create a platform that allows people to open up about their experiences and views regarding topics that some may find taboo. This series is an expression of our passion to assist in accelerating the process of spiritual awakening and extraterrestrial contact.
