Transfer at Bangkok Airport (Suvarnabhumi Airport) - How to walk to a connection flight
This video will show you what it is like to make a transfer to a connecting flight at Bangkok Airport officially called Suvarnabhumi Airport with airport code BKK. We have just arrived at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport on a Thai Airways flight from Copenhagen (this could be any other Thai Airways flight arriving from Europe).
We now have to reach our next Thai Airways connection flight to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Walk with us as we Transfer at Suvarnabhumi Airport from our Arrivals Gate to the Gate of our next flight. This Transfer (some people also call it a transit, although it is actually a Transfer) video will give you an idea of how far the distance is from Gate to Gate at Bangkok Airport. For this connection flight we do pass security (not included in the video) but not Immigration (Passport Control) as we are not entering Thailand.

Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), also known as Bangkok International Airport, is one of two international airports serving Bangkok, Thailand. Bangkok international airport or Suvernabhumi International airport is among one of my favorite airports..
I never feel bored on arrival or departure..I never forget to document it whenever I am here at this airport. I have been to Bangkok airports many times and every time I document my arrival and departure.. Bangkok airport is very easy to get around and very passenger friendly and it's really easy to find your gate no matter how far you are from you gate.
Mostly you will get a Free SIM Card upon arrival, but this time I didn't get a FREE SIM card... I normally take Airport Link Train to go to City center... and I do it every time. This time also did that... I took City Express Train.. and I was going to Makkasan station... and from there I will going to take MRT to Sukhumvit station. .. it's very convenient and cheapest way to get to the nearest place to your hotel.

I love traveling and I have traveled to many countries..but my most favorite country is Thailand and then comes the Philippines, there are more 7 thousands beautiful, exotic and tropical islands in the Philippines. I have been to Thailand several times since 2010. BANGKOK AIRPORT TO CITY CENTER – CHEAPEST WAY | SUVARNABHUMI AIRPORT TO BANGKOK CITY CENTER
WHAT IS THE CHEAPEST WAY TO GET FROM SUVARNABHUMI AIRPORT TO DOWNTOWN BANGKOK?
We often get the question of: What is the cheapest way to get from the Suvarnabhumi Airport to downtown Bangkok?
Well this video shows the exact steps to take to get from the Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square (center of Bangkok).
The cheapest way hands down is by using the Airport Rail link. You can take it directly from the airport to the Phaya Thai station
Duration: 30 minutes
Cost: 45 baht / ~1.40 USD per person
At Phaya Thai station, you can connect to the BTS Sky train (an elevated rapid public transport system, the most convenient in the city). On the BTS you can get to most places in the downtown Bangkok.
To get to Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square, you simply take the train 2 stops to the Siam station.
Duration: 4 minutes
Cost: 16 baht / ~0.50 USD per person
Take Exit number 5 and you’ll have reached the hotel!
Total trip (Suvarnabhumi Airport to Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square)
Duration: 40 minutes
Cost: 61 baht / ~1.90 USD per person
Other transportation methods:
Taxi: ~300/400 baht (~10-12 USD), seats 4 people. Make sure the taxi driver turns on the meter (starts at 35 baht) and you will have to pay the toll on the highway. Price is also dependent on the traffic. Duration: 30 mins – 2 hours
Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square Limo Service:
Camry Toyota (3 pax)-1600 baht
BMW (3 pax)-2100 baht
Van (8 pax)-2300 baht

Tips for Travel Between Two International Airports of Bangkok, Thailand
There are two airports in Bangkok, Thailand. One is Suvarnbhumi International airport (BKK) and Don Muang International airport (DMK). Suvarnbhumi airport is the main airport and DMK airport is the hub of the budget airlines.
The distance between the airports is around 46 Km and it takes around 45 minutes in the normal traffic. There are many options to travel between the airports:
1) By FREE shuttle bus of the airport: The shuttle bus travel between the airports between 5am to 12 midnight. You must have travelling ticket for the same day or the next day to avail this facility.
2) By airport TAXI: You can use the yellow-green airport taxi, however, you would have to pay 50 THB to the driver, in addition to the meter fare. If you go outside the airport and catch the taxi from the main road, you might save 50 THB given to the driver as airport fee.
3) By Radio TAXI: You can call the Radio taxi and it will come to pick up you from the airport. However, it might be an expensive option.
Transfer at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport - Walking to a connection flight
We have just arrived at Bangkok Airport officially called Suvarnabhumi Airport on a Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt. We now have to make our way through Bangkok Airport to find the Gate for our next flight with Bangkok Airways to Koh Samui. This flight Transfer Video shows passengers what it is like to have a Flight Transfer at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport and what they can expect. Transfer walks can be very long at Suvarnabhumi Airport or in this case the Transfer walk was rather short. Watch our other Airport Transfer Videos from Bangkok Airport to see the longer flight connections we have made at Suvarnabhumi Airport. Our Flight Connection videos are filmed in (almost) real time so that you get a good idea of how long the walk can take. Transfer walk times can differ from time to time as it depends on how many passengers are walking in front of you, passing through Airport Security and passing through Immigration / Passport Control.
