Let's Go Kart in Osaka, Japan! AKIBA KART!!!
This was the one of the best things we did in Osaka, Japan. You will be driving in the streets small and large and beside cars & trucks. The karts go up to 60 km/hr max from what I remember. Also no seatbeat and no helmet lol
Not far from Namba Station is Akiba Kart, where you'll be able to dress up in a onesie of your favourite character then hit the road (with a guide of course) around Osaka.
The duration was 2 hours and we made a pit stop near Osaka castle for pictures. The guide was awesome, he took pictures whenever we stopped at a red light and sent them via Messenger after.

Very important - you'll be asked to present an International Driver's Licence so if you're in Canada go to your local CAA and get it. I believe it was about $25 per person.

Osaka on Akiba Go Kart
go kart ride in Osaka a must do!!! Me and my wife were in Japan in Oct 2019 and wanted to tour south of Honshu Island... So we based ourselves in Osaka and went around Kyoto, Hiroshima and Osaka. Whilst our objective was to experience Japans history and other great things.. I randomly came across the option to drive a Go Kart in Osaka.
the experience was unbelievable!! with Akiba Go Karts the ride is around 1.5 hrs and goes around Osaka!! so whilst you have a crazy fun time driving, you also get to cover various other sights in Osaka!!
Recommend this all the time!!!
