And From Borivali Railway station It's 12 kilometer far and direct bus also available from borivali to aksa beach.

Aksa Beach | Malad | Mumbai | Tourist Attraction |

Aksa Beach is a popular beach and a vacation spot in Aksa village at Malad, Mumbai, India. It is situated close to Malvani. It is a popular weekend destination.

Once a quiet respite known by the locals, the popularity of the Aksa Beach has risen to the point that you’ll find a number of private beach cottages available for rent scattered around the place. Due to the pristine and quiet nature of this beach, city dwellers frequent this beach during the weekends. So if you wish to avoid the crowds, visit here during the weekdays. This place doesn’t have any annoying peddlers, so you can enjoy a nice quiet time by yourself in here.

The water here is not safe for swimming and there are a number of quicksands in this beach which lead to a number of casualties every year. The sunsets on this beach are spectacular.

History of Aska Beach:

Aksa beach is very popular in Mumbai. It is counted as one of the famous beaches in Mumbai. It is a very nice tourist spot in Mumbai which is visited by thousands of people every year. This beach is in the Malad village in Mumbai. It is a very nice sightseeing spot in Mumbai. This beach is also a sunset view point which provides picturesque scenery to the visitors. People also come here for swimming as well as on a picnic trip in Mumbai. The stalls at the Aksa beach provide the visitors with Lime juice as well as coconut water.
This beach has many tourist attractions in Aksa beach. Aksa beach was also chosen as a shooting spot by many Bollywood directors. One of the Latest Bollywood song ‘Tujhe aksa beach ghuma due from the film ‘God Tussi Great Ho’ was shot here. In this song, the starcasts were Salman khan, Priyanka Chopra, Sohail khan. The temperature at Aksa beach is usually warm, but sometimes in monsoon season, heavy rainfall occur here. Also, Fishing is done here by the local villagers.

Exploring Aksa Beach:

The freshness and feel of that village side environment, far from that city buzz and pollution, Aksa has those sweet moments for lovers who do not want to get disturbed and also for shell and snail collectors as you can find the same on beach corners. The shades of coconut trees is a blessing in summer and in monsoon the pleasant scenic and sunset is what makes it famous between local residents from Borivali, Kandivali, and Malad.

Aksa village will attract those who likes the greenery like Goa beaches, Beautiful small row houses, commercial cottages and huts with fisherman seen around the location of malvani is what makes it feel like being in a small village.

How to Reach Aksa Beach :

From Malad Railway Station, Aksa Beach is only about 8.5 kilometers away. You have two options for reaching Aksa Beach from Malad Railway Station:

By Bus – There is one direct bus plying from the Malad Railway Station to the Aksa Beach. This bus is operated by the Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport Undertaking or simply known as the BEST Undertaking. Here are some of the details about this bus:

BEST Bus No. 271 – This bus departs from the Malad West which is about 1.2 kilometers away from the railway station. It has many departure times from the bus stand starting at 5:15. The last bus departs from the bus stand at 23:15. Aksa Beach is its 22nd stop and you can reach it within 20 to 25 minutes. The fare is at Rs. 18 for adults and at Rs. 9 for children.

To reach Malad West, you can just ride a taxi or rickshaw from the Malad Railway Station.

By Taxi – Since the distance between Malad Railway Station and Aksa Beach is not that long, you can opt to ride a taxi to reach the latter. Taxis are not frequent around the area though so that’s one downside of it. Taxi fare would be between Rs. 115 to Rs. 200, it also depends on the traffic during that time.

By Auto – You can also opt to ride an auto rickshaw from Malad Railway Station to the Aksa Beach. The fare would be around Rs. 80 to Rs. 90 and the ride would be around 45 minutes or so.

Juhu is a suburb of Mumbai. It is most famous for the sprawling Juhu beach. It surrounded by the Arabian Sea to the west, Versova to the north, Santacruz and Vile Parle to the east, and Khar to the south. Juhu is among the most affluent areas of the city and home to many Bollywood celebrities. The nearest railway stations are Santacruz, Andheri and Vile Parle on the Western Line and Harbour Line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway.

J. R. D. Tata, the father of civil aviation in India, made his maiden voyage to Juhu Airport from Drigh Road airstrip, Karachi, via Ahmedabad, on 15 October 1932 carrying mail in a Puss Moth aircraft.

In the nineteenth century, Juhu was an island: a long, narrow sand bar rising above sea level by a metre or two, just off the west coast of Salsette. It could be reached during low tides by walking across the tidal inlet.

Juhu was called Juvem by the Portuguese. At its north point, nestled the village of Juhu, inhabited by Bhandaris (toddy tappers), Agris (salt traders) and Kulbis (cultivators) and at its south point, opposite Bandra island, lived a small colony of fisher folk and cultivators (Koliwada). The inhabitants of Juhu were mainly East Indians and there was a small section of Goans. The Church of St. Joseph was built by the Portuguese in 1853.

The open beaches of Juhu have attracted the well-heeled and the most affluent among Mumbai's population for almost a century. In the 1890s, Jamsetji Tata purchased land on Juhu and built a bungalow there. He planned to develop 1200 acres (5 km²) in Juhu Tara. This was to yield 500 plots of one acre (4,000 m²) each and a seaside resort. Simultaneously he wanted to extend the Mahim Causeway to Santacruz, to access to this area. After his death in 1904, the scheme was abandoned. With the dawn of aviation in the 20th century, the Bombay Flying Club commenced operations in 1929 at what eventually became the present Juhu Aerodrome.

Juhu Beach is located 18 kilometres north of the city centre, on the shores of the Arabian Sea. It stretches for six kilometres up to Versova. It is a popular tourist attraction throughout the year and is also a sought after destination for shooting films. The beach generally gets more crowded on weekends with families and courting couples. The food court at its main entrance is famous for its 'Mumbai style' street food, notably Bhelpuri, pani puri and Sevpuri. Horse pulled carriages offer joyrides to tourists for a small fee while acrobats, dancing monkeys, cricket matches, toy sellers vie for tourist's attention. The beach is among the most popular sites in the city for the annual Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations where thousands of devotees arrive in grand processions, carrying idols of the Lord Ganesh of various sizes, to be immersed in the water at the beach; unfortunately, the beach often becomes very dirty. Juhu Beach is also a popular spot for planespotting as a portion of it lies underneath the departure path from Runway 09 and occasionally, the arrival path from Runway 27 of Mumbai Airport.

The busy-yet-peaceful surroundings of Juhu is home to many Bollywood celebrities like Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Ameesha Patel, Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Bobby Deol, Dharmendra, Dimple Kapadia, Fardeen Khan, Govinda, Hema Malini, Hritik Roshan, Mahesh Bhatt, Mithun Chakraborty, Paresh Rawal, Rakesh Roshan, Rani Mukherjee, Raveena Tandon, Shakti Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Vidya Balan, Vivek Oberoi, Yash Chopra and Zayed Khan. Apart from celebrities, it is also home to a significant number of Mumbai's business elite. Hence, Juhu has come to be referred to as the Beverly Hills of Bollywood juhu beach dance shark
