AKSHARDHAM TEMPLE THE ANCIENT SECRET NIGHTTIME SHOW
This show takes the audience on a poetic and spiritual journey through.
Veda mythology, Hinduism's oldest scriptures.
The story focuses on Nachiketa, son of Rishi Uddalak, who is about to be sacrificed to the gods by his father for Vishwajit Yagna, a religious offering symbolized by the Ceremony of Fire.
Nachiketa then meets the Lord of Death, Yamraaj, who grants him three wishes. Nachiketa's last wish, the hardest to obtain, is the secret of death and, thus, immortality. A spiritual dialogue about life, death, gods and humanity ensues.

SWAMINARAYAN AKSHARDHAM - AHMEDABAD (GANDHINAGAR)
Akshardham Gandhinagar is one of the largest temples in the Indian state of Gujarat. The temple complex combines devotions, art, architecture, education, exhibitions and research at one place. The temple came to international attention when two heavily armed terrorists attacked it in September 2002
Akshardham Gandhinagar is a predecessor to the Akshardham at Delhi, built by the same religious organisation, Bochasanwasi Akshar-Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) led by Pramukh Swami Maharaj. It was inaugurated on November 2, 1992.
The monument enshrining the 7-foot-high (2.1 m), gold-leafed Murti of Lord Swaminarayan is the focal point of the complex.
Sat-Chit-Anand Water Show: A 45-minute show depicts the story of Nachiketa from the Kathopanishad. The show, the longest of its kind, features the use of 4,000 nozzles, 2,000 lights, over 100 pumps and 12 fireball throwers.
he imposing 10 story high monument is made entirely of intricately carved, 6000 tons of pink sand-stone from Rajasthan, with no steel or cement used at all, ensuring that the monument will last for a thousand years. It is 108 ft.(32.92 m) tall, 240 ft.(73.15 m) long and 131 ft.(39.93 m) wide.
Designed and crafted according to ancient Indian Architectural Treatises (called the Sthaapatya shastras), the monument radiates a spiritual aura into the complex.
It has three floors-- Hari Mandapam (the main floor),
Vibhuti Mandapam (the upper floor),
Prasadi Mandapam (the ground floor)
1 HARI MANDAPAM - The centerpiece of the monument is spiritually sacred, philosophically perfect and aesthetically exceptional. It is composed of three murtis (idols) which relates to the only three realities that exist in Akshardham - the supreme abode of God. The three realities are:
1. Parabrahman: Lord Swaminarayan, the God Supreme.
2. Aksharbrahman: Gunatitanand Swami, God's divine abode.
3. Aksharmuktas: The countless redeemed souls, symbolically represented by Gopalanand Swami.
2 - PRASADI MANDAPAM - It preserves the garments, articles and other holy relics used by Lord Swaminarayan. These preciously preserved relics have been scientifically restored and honorably displayed.
3 -VIBHUTI MANDAPAM - t reveals the divine philosophy and personality of Lord Swaminarayan through His own words and teachings compiled in a sacred scripture - The Vachanamrut.
