Four months have passed since the Kumamoto Earthquake which occurred in April 2016. Ten representatives from Japan and other countries who took part in Miss International Pageant 2015 and 2016 traveled around Kyushu as restoration support. This is a video that shows they gradually find charm of Kyushu with their own sensitivity through people they met, the foods they savored and the scenery they were impressed by.

JAPAN: TOKYO: RELIGIOUS CULT LEADERS PROPHECY

Tokyo was on full alert Saturday in response to a prophecy by the leader of the Aum Shinrikyo cult, which is suspected of carrying out last month's nerve gas attack.
Shoko Asahara had predicted that something terrible would happen on April 15th in Japan's capital.
Although the streets were quiet for a Saturday those out ignored the prophecy.
Japan's notorious cult leader, Shoko Asahara, prophesied a
natural disaster for Tokyo today (Saturday) and authorities were taking no chances.
Extra police were on alert throughout the capital, especially in the subway and at major intersections.
Some shops were closed, many had extra staff on duty. Even so they down-played the likelihood of any kind of attack.
Subway stations closed certain vending machines, to avoid suspicious packages being hidden.
Even the American Embassy put out an alert to its employees. The embassy recommended the employees exercise common sense and prudent security precautions while walking or travelling around town.

But most Tokyo residents ignored the threat.

I woke up and heard it on the news, but I'm just going about my normal business
So far, Asahara's prophecy has not come true. But with a strong suspicion of his cult's involvement in the gas attack on the Tokyo subway last month, security forces remain on high alert in case Asahara's followers decide to try to make his forecast real.

S.Korea strongly protests Japan's anti-historical claim to Dokdo / YTN
South Korea has strongly protested Japan's diplomatic policy report that repeats Tokyo's sovereignty claim to South Korea's easternmost islets of Dokdo.
In the 2015 Diplomatic Bluebook, released on Tuesday, the Shinzo Abe administration asserted that the pair of rocky outcroppings in the East Sea belongs to Japan based on historical facts and international law.
Seoul's foreign ministry immediately called in Kenji Kanasugi, a minister at the Japanese Embassy in Seoul, to file a complaint with the Japanese government.
The call followed the Seoul ministry's summons of the Japanese ambassador to Seoul a day earlier after Tokyo's education ministry infuriated South Koreans by approving history textbooks for middle school students, that lay claim to Dokdo, known as Takeshima in Japan.
