A film promoting the businesses in the local area on a day of sunshine and unity.
Beatnik Wolf's first attempt at events coverage. A film hoping to not only promote the event itself but also the local businesses that got involved and made it happen. We also wanted to show that despite its undeserved reputation in recent years, Bradford and its community is capable of bringing together those of all ages and all cultures in the name of peace, love and partying. Enjoy x

Lyrics:
I was eight years old and running with a dime in my hand
Into the bus stop to pick up a paper for my old man
I'd sit on his lap in that big old Buick and steer as we drove through town
He'd tousle my hair and say son take a good look around this is your hometown
This is your hometown
This is your hometown
This is your hometown
In '65 tension was running high at my high school
There was a lot of fights between the black and white
There was nothing you could do
Two cars at a light on a Saturday night in the back seat there was a gun
Words were passed in a shotgun blast
Troubled times had come to my hometown
My hometown
My hometown
My hometown

How To Check If A Silver Dollar Is Fake Or Not
Here are a few of my methods in determining if a silver dollar is real or not before you buy it. It's not fool proof but if the coin fails any one of these simple tests, then it's likely a fake. These tests are good for US silver dollars, Japanese Yen, British crowns, silver trade dollars, Spanish 8 Reales, Mexican Pesos and other similar type coins. Great to use while at garage/yard sales, flea markets, etc. Important info to remember: 38mm diameter width, 2-3mm thickness, & 26-27 grams weight.
If you want to mail me something, I’ll put it in my next video!

Bradford One: Our Big Gig - Do Miss America (Queen Of California)
The amazing band, Do Miss America, at the outdoor concert in Bradford City Park singing 'Queen Of California'
Sorry about the bad quality, it was filmed on my phone and we were stood right next to the amps!
5. Flick Of The Wrist (Queen-Live In Liverpool: 11/14/1975)
Now that I finally found some time to upload shows again, I decided to upload a show that has been recently shared publicly for the first time. This is the very first gig on the Opera Tour and it sure surprised me when I saw this on DIME awhile back! This show has already been uploaded by Simon Christensen (he was holding down the fort while I was swamped with stuff outside of Youtube), so this may not be new for everybody - but I thought that I would upload it so people could see what I thought of the gig.
This recording is mostly complete (God Save The Queen is missing and there's cuts throughout the recording) with listenable audio quality (the quieter bits sound great while the louder bits have bass and mid frequency distortion from being recorded too loud). Despite being the first gig on the Opera Tour, this is another gig that has performances that outshine performances from the famous Hammersmith 1975 concert. It is really interesting and wonderful to hear the first-ever live performances of Bohemian Rhapsody, Sweet Lady, and The Prophet's Song.
The band sound mostly tight on this first night of the tour (although there's some rough spots here and there) and Freddie's voice sounds great overall. Throughout this tour - Freddie would still be getting used to singing with his throat nodules (on this leg, he'd have moments of unstable singing - then in Japan, his voice would really suffer on some shows) where he would change phrasing on the fly, experiment with new phrasing, cut off sustains, etc. On this show - he is pretty gutsy in spots and delivers some of his better performances of the tour leg (and in same cases - the overall tour). This is definitely a show not to be skipped! Now… time to talk about the performances!
The rock section of Bohemian Rhapsody sounds excellent with Freddie sounding almost identical to the record version (albeit without the C5), Ogre Battle is a pretty good performance overall, but Freddie does random speak-singing in the first chorus (probably to not push his voice as hard) and cuts off some notes here and there, Sweet Lady has some big surprises in the form of Freddie being daring (nailing the B4 on treat me like a DOG) and the band nearly train-wrecking the song after the second chorus. Freddie also fudges the words during the performance. White Queen is a great performance with everybody sounding strong, Flick Of The Wrist is one of the best on the tour with the choruses having great harmonies and Freddie sounding great, the verses of Bohemian Rhapsody are very experimental on this first performance as Freddie tries out different vocal phrasing throughout (such as mixing album phrasing and conservative drop phrasing on the same lines, doing phrasing that foreshadows Japan 1976, etc), Killer Queen sounds pretty good overall (albeit with a few flat notes from Freddie and the guitar solo not being completely clean) with Freddie being playful in spots, The March Of The Black Queen sounds strong overall (despite Roger not transitioning into the song completely clean), the reprise of Bohemian Rhapsody sounds really good overall (bar a sour note from Freddie on anyone can see), and Bring Back That Leroy Brown sounds good overall, but the ending isn't the tightest.
The Prophet's Song sounds great overall with Freddie delivering his all-time best vocal performance of the song live (early versions of this song have Freddie being more daring during the first pre-chorus by singing the album phrasing - this version has the cleanest delivery). The only major fault with this version is the fact that Freddie flubs the lyrics in the first pre-chorus (plus the vocal solo is less creative when compared with later versions - understandable though). Stone Cold Crazy is solid - although John goofs up the opening bass riff, Doing All Right is one of the elite versions with Freddie sounding excellent (unlike some of the Japanese gigs) and the harmonies being tight, Son And Daughter sounds great overall, Keep Yourself Alive has some rough musical moments in the intro (the band aren't completely in sync) but the performance is otherwise good with Freddie embellishing on the line feed my body and my soul, Liar is a strong version with the musicianship of the entire band being highlighted, In The Lap Of The Gods…Revisited is the typical non-falsetto version for the time period, Now I'm Here is one of the stronger versions from the tour, Big Spender is a fun version with Freddie sounding strong, and Jailhouse Rock has a fun start (sounds like Roger didn't follow Brian's guitar cue) but the performance overall is great and energetic!
ENJOY!!!
Note: There's some feedback issues throughout the gig. Thankfully, they don't seem to affect the performances!
