PSSO SENIORS 2011-2012 Reunion (October 2013) | OMAN VLOG 2013
Here is my delayed vlog from four years ago. I was already editing this on the second semester of SY 2013-2014 when Typhoon Haiyan (Super Typhoon Yolanda in Philippines) hit on November 8, 2013. Power outage lasted from November 8 to December 16, 2017 while phone and internet lines remained faulty. On the same school year, we also has two research projects; one for Developmental Psychology and another for Abnormal Psychology. My busy schedule hindered the editing of this vlog.
Now this is my reunion with my former classmates and ex-teachers as well as ex-schoolmates in Philippine School Sultanate of Oman (also known as Philippine School Muscat) during my semester break on October 2013. This happened on the day I would get my visa renewed at the ROP Visa Renewal Center. You will see here my former classmates Jomar Villamor, Maika Perdido, Johnstown Cardinal, Josh Ponce, and Fahad Al-Maamari. Former teachers here are Mrs. Evangeline Arguelles, Ms. Carol Layog, Mrs. Eloisa San Jose, Mrs. Olivia Sebolino, Mr. Carlos Coloma Libao, Mr. Gamaliel Nacor, Mrs. Nema Mendoza, and the rest.

Oman Aviation Group has officially unveiled its brand strategy, new logo and vision for the future.
The group, which spearheads Oman's aviation industry, will create a strong link between aviation, tourism and logistics, and aims to attract foreign investment as it positions itself as a key driver of non-oil growth in Oman's future vision.
Oman Aviation Group also plans to make the Sultanate a key aviation hub for the GCC region.
The brand was officially launched under the auspices of H.E. Darwish bin Ismail Al Balushi, Minister for Financial Affairs, and H.E. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communication and chairman of the group.
Following the unveiling of the 2040 strategy at the convention centre on Monday evening, the Group will launch a slew of promotional activities highlighting their new distinctive red-orange livery and propeller brand-mark. Moussa Castle - Beit El Dein
Moussa Castle is a Lebanese landmark. Located on a hill between Deir El Kamar and Beiteddine, this castle hides an interesting story behind it! Moussa Castle is the vision of Moussa Abdel Karim Al Maamari who was born in 1931. When he was a teenager, Moussa was obsessed with the architecture of the Middle Ages. He always dreamed of building a castle with his own hands. At fourteen years old, he fell in love with a girl named Sayyeda. His crush, who belongs to a wealthy family, told Moussa that he could talk to her when he owns a palace. During art class, his teacher assigned the students to draw a bird and a tree. Instead, Moussa drew a castle in which he and Sayyeda would live. The teacher, whose name was Anwar, thought that Moussa was mocking him by not following the instruction. So, he beat him with a cane and tore up the drawing. The young dreamer picked up the pieces and left. A few days later, Moussa made an important decision which changed his life. He went to Sidon without informing anyone and started working in construction with his uncle. With his experience in renovating palaces, Moussa built the famous castle with his own hands. His wife Maria helped him. The castle was a huge success. Many renowned figures, including President Camille Chamoun and his wife, visited the Lebanese landmark. Moussa Castle contains figurines that portray scenes of the village life. One of the scenes depicts Anwar beating Moussa; a memory that the architect could never forget. 67 years after the incident, he invited Sayyeda to the castle with the help of his cousin. She didn't know that it was her classmate Moussa who built the castle. Sayyeda was surprised when she saw him. The castle features artifacts, gemstones, clothing, and 32,000 weapons. It's a heritage museum where you can go back in time.
