Pluses:
The 2 bedroom apartment was massive and beautifully decorated. The terrace was also huge and there was a nice big pool, bigger than most. The outdoor shower in the bathroom area was lovely. Staff was all so friendly and helpful. Room service was good and the club sandwich was very delicious and fresh. Gym facilities were great, especially loved the scented cold towels. Spa was also great. The grounds were beautiful and I'd love to go back in the winter to walk around some more.
Outstanding breakfast. The overall design of hotel (including landscaping) and rooms is impressive, giving it a very luxurious boutique feeling with a tranquil vibe. Ideal to relax!
Minuses:
The private pool isn't very private, passerbys can see in, which needs to be addressed. It looked as if maybe they were planning to put trees up, which would solve that problem.
Although the food is excellent in both the international and seafood restaurant, the prices are a bit too high on both food (vs. other restaurants in same category) and alcohol (given the fact that the hotel is located in Ajman where alcohol in general is much cheaper than Dubai). Also the seafood restaurant (Aquarius) could have a wider range on menu (eg: seafood platters/towers, selection of shell fish and oyster bar, combos of grilled sea food, etc).
