Vlog #3!! Can't believe how much fun I am having putting these together. Yesterday at 6pm, my new roommates Marika and Biagio, who will be staying for the summer, asked if I wanted to come climbing with them and my friend Andrea. Hard to pass, as I haven't been climbing outdoors since a child. It was incredible to get back to it, especially after all the indoor bouldering I have been doing the past year. Be sure to watch past me talking (or skip ahead) for the better climbing footage!
Thanks Biagio, Marika and Andrea for helping with the extra shots of me and letting me film this!

Conquering AB Mountain in Alaska
A couple years ago, I had the amazing experience of spending four months in the state of Alaska. It was the most beautiful place that I have ever seen. Skagway, Alaska is my favorite little town ever, and I hope that one day, I can have a summer home there.
I decided to go hiking one day, and the next thing you know, I was vertical, climbing a mountain. I had no food or water, but motivation and dedication to finish what I accidentally started.
I know that this is not what I normally post, but I wanted to share this all with you. Thank you all for watching.

Alaska Jet Ski & Helicopter Tours to Glaciers, Adventures in Whittier & Anchorage | Go North Ep 16
Jet Ski to Glaciers & Helicopter in Chugach Mountains
Episode 16 takes us to Whittier Alaska where we explore the towns living arrangements in the Begich Towers then go Jet Skiing to Glaciers in Blackstone Bay.
Whittier is only accessible by air, water, or the one way tunnel that shares traffic with a train. The Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel (aka the Whittier Tunnel) is a rough rock tunnel that is the only ground access to the city and until the early 2000's this tunnel was for trains only. Each end of the tunnel has long waiting areas where traffic lines up, and if no trains come street vehicles are allowed through the tunnel each half hour after the tunnel has cleared from opposing traffic.
We then head over to Anchorage first with a stop in Turnagain Arm to watch the Alaska bore tide surfers. In Anchorage a friend took us for a ride in a Robinson R44 helicopter into Alaska's Chugach Mountains all the way up to Lake George. Bob Kaufman spoke with us about life in Alaska before we head further north and get our first, but not last glimpse of the Aurora Borealis aka Northern Lights in Alaska.

Grizzly Falls Ziplining Expedition - Skagway, Alaska
Fast, fun, and exhilarating, this approximately 4 hour adventure is sure to excite nature lovers and thrill seekers alike! Get a running start on solid ground and take flight into the treetops of the Alaskan rainforest!
It all starts at your cruise dock when you meet up with your guide. From there, enjoy an entertaining historic tour through downtown Skagway then along 9 miles of stunning coastline. When you arrive at our base in Dyea, you will transfer into our customized unimog—an all-wheel drive vehicle necessary for getting up our rugged mountain road. During your adventurous ride up the mountain, look out at the impressive rainforest and glacially fed waterfalls. Get psyched—you're about to fly over this wild landscape!
At the top of the mountain, you will suit up in gear that meets the highest standards of safety while your highly trained guide tells you what to expect and how to safely navigate the course. You will then be lead to the take off zone, where you'll clip in and fly away! You'll soar through a course of 11 ziplines, the longest measuring 750ft—that's longer than 2 football fields combined! But this is more than just any zip course. Our lines will bring you directly above glacially fed waterfalls, so close you will actually feel the mist as you zoom by! For the more cautious adventurers, rest assured that you can always control your own speed with a brake system. But we double dog dare you to let go and zoom up to 45 miles per hour!
Of course, that's a little too fast to take those perfect pictures of the Alaskan wilderness. That's why we decided that a hardcore unimog and an 11 line zip course over waterfalls just isn't quite enough. So we added 4 state of the art suspension bridges. From these bridges, you'll be able to capture stunning photos of you and your loved ones in the heart of Alaska's wild beauty.
After completing the course, pat yourself on the back, say goodbye to your guides, and enjoy your last ride in the unimog to your bus at the bottom of the mountain. Take advantage of the scenic drive back to Skagway to look over your pictures and joke about who was the bravest zipliner. This is bound to be an E.X.C.U.R.S.I.O.N of a lifetime, one you will surely remember for years to come!
Welcome to Skagway

Alaska Cruise Guide: Cruising the Inside Passage
The scenic Inside Passage is a series of waterways that stretches from Northwest Washington state into Southeast Alaska. For cruise passengers sailing the Inside Passage provides an opportunity to enjoy calmer waters compared to sailing the open waters of the Pacific Ocean see massive mountain ranges that seem like they surround you and spot various wildlife in the water, on the shores, and in the mountains.
We enjoyed cruising the Inside Passage from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to Juneau, Alaska with our little JellyBean during our Alaskan cruise in late May of 2019.

McKinley were taken from the deck of the moving cruise ship or from the observation platform of a moving train. Photos were processed using Aperture software. Video production was performed with iMovie. Soundtrack created using Band in a Box and recorded using Samplitude Professional.

Alaska's Inside Passage (Alaska) Vacation Travel Video Guide
Travel video about Alaskas Inside Passage in Alaska.
Alaska's Inside Passage is the title of a fascinating ocean cruise and features the wonders of nature and amazing natural landscapes. It is a journey to the solitude of Alaska and its splendid wildlife. We begin in Vancouver, Canada’s pearl of the Pacific Ocean, along the Alexander Archipelago in the Gulf Of Alaska. Vancouver is a young city full of joie de vivre with captivating charm and European flair, set in a beautiful location and with a mild climate. Next to the snow-white tented roof of the densely built quay near to Canada Place, is the centre of a new harbour where cruise ships from all over the world come and go. Ketchikan is a small town is located five hundred and twenty six nautical miles north of Vancouver and was founded by the Tlingit Indians. In the 1880’s the town based its economy on salmon and wood but today it relies upon tourism. Creek Street is a wooden construction on stilts located along Ketchikan Creek, previously the city’s red light district but now full of elegant shops and restaurants. Since 1900, Juneau has been the capital city of Alaska, the forty ninth state of the U.S.A. Tlingit Indian leader, Chief Kowee, discovered gold in Gold Creek and the gold rush began! The spacious and speedy gondolas of the Mount Roberts Tramway travel up the mountain of the same name with fine views of the harbour with its cruise ships, the Gastineau Channel, the Chilkat Mountains and the Inside Passage. The ice flows of the thirty two glaciers of the Kenai National Park Fjords are now melting faster than they can grow and the fjords are becoming larger. Yet still the landscape is a huge wonder of nature, a remote world of ice and snow. Alaska is the epitome of vastness, wilderness and natural scenery, a unique habitat far from civilization.
