Wrangell Mts . Glaciers . Day's End
The Wrangell Mountains are a high mountain range of eastern Alaska in the United States. Much of the range is included in Wrangell-Saint Elias National Park and Preserve. The Wrangell Mountains are almost entirely volcanic in origin, and they include the second and third highest volcanoes in the United States, Mount Blackburn (16,390') and Mount Sanford (16,237'). The range takes its name from Mount Wrangell (14,163')...
After visiting one of the free cabin airstrips in the area, we lifted off and headed home to McCarthy and Kennicott Glacier Lodge. Not in a hurry. Not really wanting this day to end. But taking in each beautiful vista and experience during the short flight and afternoon as it came to our view and our realm. What a day!

Glacier Bay Alaska 2015
A beautiful view of Glacier Bay, Alaska in pictures and video on September 17, 2015. The video is in color, but the weather this September produced interesting tones of black, white and blue.
The music is written, programmed and produced by DJ BassMonkey.
The video was shot aboard the Norwegian Pearl.
If you travel to Glacier Bay Alaska in September, this video is a great preview of what you will see. The vistas and mountains are big.
P6: Royal Enfield Himalayan: US Border, Glacier, Home & Moto Show
The long awaited conclusion to the trip!
We'll take the Royal Enfield Himalayan from Kluane Lake in the Yukon, across the US Border into Alaska, and onward HOME! Along the way we'll pass some incredible mountains, visit Matanuska Glacier (awesome drone footage!), and even drop in on the annual Eagle River Bear Paw Festival Motorcycle Show where yours truly is awarded a small prize for a custom 1997 Suzuki GN125E. All in good fun! I hope you enjoy this conclusion to the trip.
As always, if you can manage the time and patience, there are some really nice highlights, scenes and transitions throughout the video. Enjoy!
SERIES OVERVIEW
Follow along as I purchase a Royal Enfield Himalayan in Seattle, Washington and ride it for the first time EVER all the way back to Alaska. I even do some customizing to the bike along the way! (Part 2-3)
This is the sixth part of a series of videos covering my purchase of the 2018 Royal Enfield Himalayan Himalayan, customizing the bike and exhaust with Cerakote Ceramic after only 300 miles, doing my first service, then continuing on through Banf National Park, Jasper National Park, the Canada Yukon and Alaska where I stopped at a magnificent glacier before arriving home.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan is a 411cc adventure bike built in Indian and made available in the U.S. for the first time in 2018. Very few motorcyclists in the U.S. have had the experience of riding one let alone taking it for a near 3000-mile ride right from the showroom floor.
IN THIS MOTORCYCLE SERIES
○ At only 411cc's, how does it handle on American highways?
○ What's involved with the first service at 300 miles?
○ Can it hold up on a long-distance adventure?
○ Is it comfortable, capable, and does it handle well?
○ How does the bike look after a ceramic coating of the exhaust, skid plate and levers?
○ And what sort of scenery, wildlife and adventures do I experience on my 2,800-mile ride back to Alaska?
I hope you enjoy this series. Please LIKE & SUBSCRIBE for the following parts and future Himalayan adventures in Alaska.

ANAN BEAR REAL LIFE(ALASKA) by marian duque galinato
JoLo World Vlog 9-10: ALASKA 5! (Matanuska glacier, Haines, Yukon Canada, Alaska Marine Highway)
This week we came back from Fairbanks to Anchorage, to stay there a couple of days. But not far away from Anchorage is the beautiful Matanuska glacier, which you can walk on by yourselves, following the cones. It is very slippery without special shoes though! The mountains at the back and the alien-like nature where it receded make a visit to this glacier a precious experience.
September in Alaska means Indian Summer, especially beautiful with clear skies! We slept for free at a State Campground at Deadman Lake, which despite its name is a beautiful place. Lots of mosquitos!
September 7 we crossed two borders! Into Canada via the Alaska Highway, and then southwards via the Haines highway, over the high planes where Yukon meets British Columbia. It is a fantastic drive! Then you descend into the forests, where probably the most beautiful border lies, the one with Southern Alaska.
Did you know that in Southern Alaska lies the capital of Alaska: Juneau? This is very different from the rest of Alaska, much warmer and there is even rainforest!
We spent the night at a campground in the harbour of Haines, with magnificent views on the fjords.
Then we took the Alaska Marine Highway ferry. It takes 4 days. It stops by Juneau, then takes a detour to Sitka (going through one of the narrowest water streets) and then it is off to Petersburg and Wrangell. You have to be alert, but from there on it is probable to see whales, orcas and even dolphins! We loved the four days on this small but functional ship!
