Ever get your butt kicked by a dude in pink? | Mountain Biking West Bragg Creek in Alberta, Canada
My trip to Canada came to a close on a pretty fun little trail system near Calgary called West Bragg Creek. Laura from Alberta 66 (link below) joined Aric and I for a really cool ride. I need to get in better shape! This video felt a lot like my early “lone wolf” videos where I had a lot of time to talk to myself.

What an awesome evening.
West Bragg Creek Mountain Bike Ride
This is a look at some trails at West Bragg Creek SW of Calgary, Alberta. I do a little narration along the way and even come across some 4 legged friends. Not a technical ride, but an introduction to mountain biking in the area. If you want more challenging rides with steep sections, structures and berms you can also try Station Flats on 66 Highway SW of Bragg Creek. Thanks for watching. Ride hard.
Solo Bikepacking: Powderface Trail, Nihahi Creek, Kananskis, Alberta, Canada
When your car isn't working but you have a few days off and the mountains are calling, what do you do? Pedal, I suppose. Taking advantage of the seasonal road closures in Kananaskis I ventured out of the city and along the Powderface Trail for a solo, multi day, bikepacking, hammock camping adventure!
Strange Brew - West Bragg Creek [Evo SS Gimbal + Hero 4] Mountain Biking Alberta
Strange Brew! This is a really fun trail that most people ride down after climbing Ranger's Summit trail from the West Bragg Creek parking lot. You can also access this trail from the Highway 66 side by climbing bobcat, sugar mama or sugar daddy.
The trail itself has some nice variety with tight berms, flow, and roots. There are a few punchy ups here and there that I cut out from the video.
Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy! I'll be trying to hit as many trails out and around Calgary over the coming weeks and plan to bring the camera along. If you enjoy these types of videos it would be amazing if you subscribed and followed along!!

Calgary to Bragg Creek, Alberta - Summer - Timelapse
Getting into the foothills, this highway and further west of Bragg Creek has some nice windy roads to drive, just on the edge of the Rocky Mountains.
Calgary (/ˈkælɡəri, -ɡri/ (About this sound listen)) is a city in the Canadian province of Alberta. It is situated at the confluence of the Bow River and the Elbow River in the south of the province, in an area of foothills and prairie, about 80 km (50 mi) east of the front ranges of the Canadian Rockies. The city anchors the south end of what Statistics Canada defines as the Calgary–Edmonton Corridor.[13]
The city had a population of 1,239,220 in 2016, making it Alberta's largest city and Canada's third-largest municipality.[7] Also in 2016, Calgary had a metropolitan population of 1,392,609, making it the fourth-largest census metropolitan area (CMA) in Canada.[9]
The economy of Calgary includes activity in the energy, financial services, film and television, transportation and logistics, technology, manufacturing, aerospace, health and wellness, retail, and tourism sectors.[14] The Calgary CMA is home to the second-highest number of corporate head offices in Canada among the country's 800 largest corporations.[15]
In 1988, Calgary became the first Canadian city to host the Winter Olympic Games, followed in 2010 by Vancouver.
Bragg Creek is a hamlet in southern Alberta under the jurisdiction of Rocky View County[2] in Division No. 6. It is also recognized as a designated place by Statistics Canada.[3]
Bragg Creek is located 30 km (19 mi) west of Calgary (via Highway 8 and Highway 22) at the confluence of the Elbow River and Bragg Creek. It is located north of the intersection of Highway 66 and Highway 22.

Calgary 2014 | Hi-Standard Series | VANS
The Vans Hi-Standard series in collaboration with Snowboard Canada hit Calgary's Canada Olympic Park for its second stop to give away over $3500 in cash prize and give everyone the chance to show off their best style on the snow. With Canadian legend, Dennis Bannock on the mic and Vans pro Benji Ritchi in tow doling out the bills to worthy shreds, the mood was light to begin with, and when Kael Hill showed up out of the woodwork with a rented board to collect some cash, it only got lighter. Felix Conner took home $200 for the Van Doren best Rail Trick (under 15) and Kael took $300 for the 16 and over.

1Up Bicycle Rack - Question??
Just purchased this pre-owned 1Up bicycle rack for my Wrangler JL. Is this amount of movement normal? Have not test driven it yet but it seems to hold the bike firmly from side to side.
Other racks I have used have held the bikes very firmly. Those racks have used an arm that either secures the front tire or top tube down.
Sorry for the vertical video but it seemed more appropriate being so close the bike and videoing with my phone.
