[Wikipedia] Aldenham Country Park
Aldenham Country Park is a 175-acre (0.71 km2) parkland and woodland, including Aldenham Reservoir. It is now part of the Watling Chase Community Forest, near Elstree, Hertfordshire, England.
Aldenham Reservoir was excavated by French prisoners of war in 1795 to help maintain local river levels after the Grand Union Canal was built. It is held as a reserve public water supply.The park supports walking, fishing and sailing activities, has playgrounds, Special Needs Centre and a Disney-backed Winnie-the-Pooh theme area. Since 1984, it has been a centre for breeding rare livestock (one of seventeen Rare Breeds Survival Trust centres in the UK), including Aldenham Longhorn cattle, Bagot goats, Berkshire and Tamworth pigs, and Norfolk Horn and English Leicester sheep.

Winnie The Pooh at Aldenham Country Park
The Winnie the Pooh session is aimed at pre-school or reception classes only. This activity involves a 15 minute meet and greet with Winnie the Pooh himself! This is then followed by a trail hunt around 100 Aker Wood. During spring and summer, the activity will take place in our indoor barn then in 100 Aker Wood.
Spring in Geneva, Montreux Switzerland & England 2016
Flew Easy Jet from Gatwick to Geneva, Switzerland. We took the train from Geneva to Montreaux around Lake Geneva towards the Italian side of Switzerland. The majestic snow top Swiss Alps were so stunning and healing to look at. We met two young Sisters on the bus and on their way to Chateau Chillion and kept running into them and it was the the Chapel where the acoustics were phenomenal that the sisters with the most angelic voices and Joyce and myself broke into song. We had a bit of an audience too. Toured the ancient historic Chateau Chillion. Watched the Sunset at Lake Geneva in Montreaux after best pizza dinner ever. Stayed at a very cute boutique hotel but there were a couple of undesirables out side at night when my friend wanted to buy some coconut water and wanted to video them. See what unfolds. Crossed the border from Switzerland into France and took the Chair Lift at Saleve up Monte Blanc...spectacular view. Visited United Nations and did the very informative tour. Spent a lot in the gift shop. Flew back to London Heathrow Swiss Air. Visited St. Albans, Aldenham Country Park, Elstree Airdrome, Kenwood, Queen's 90th Birthday Beacon lighting in Shenley (Hertfordshire) officiated by the Rabbi and Priest, Parliament Hill, St James' Park, Buckingham Palace, Embankment, River Thames, Tower Bridge, Tower of London, St. Pauls, Cutty Sark, Greenwich, England. With Family & Friends. My brother and sister-in-law, Cousins, Baxica the Queen of Cats! Went to a few restaurants with family and friends. Saw Kinky Boots, Sunny Afternoon The Kinks Music, The Curious Incident of the Dog At Night. Went to the Rolling Stones Exhibitionism at the Satchii Museum on the Kings Road Chelsea where it all began. What a wonderful time! Videos and photos by Joyce and Actsing
