VLOG - WALKING AROUND ST PETERSBURG | ALEXANDER GARDEN | BRONZE HORSEMAN | SUPER MARKET IN RUSSIA
In the afternoon of our first day in St Petersburg,we visited Alexander Garden (Aleksandrovsky Sad). This small picturesque garden is situated between Admiralty, St. Isaacs Cathedral and the Senate Square with the Bronze Horseman Statue. It exits with one side at the Admiralty Embankment on the Neva River. You'll see many monuments to famous Russian art and science personalities. In front of a Admiralty Building there is a beautiful fountain.Lovely park to wander through, many vendors selling souvenirs and also many Music Artists performing there.
The Bronze Horseman is a monument to Peter the Great, the founder of Saint Petersburg, located on the Senate Square. The monument was made of bronze with his horse rearing above the snake of treason. Its inscription reads ‘To Peter I from Catherine II – 1782’.
We strolled along the bank of Neva River with amazing view of boats, vessels in the water.
Then We went to a super market and bought food and water. Prices are reasonable.Buying food from super market is a better option to save money.

Алекса́ндровский сад Subway Alexander Garden
Alexandrovsky Sad (Russian: Алекса́ндровский сад, IPA: is a station of the Filyovskaya Line of the Moscow Metro. It was designed by A. I. Gontskevich and S. Sulin and opened on 15 May 1935 along with the first stage of the metro. The station is situated under the southern part of the Vozdvizhenka Street (which was then called Kominterna—hence the original name) next to the building of the Russian State Library. Originally the station was not included in the plans for the first stage due to its closeness to the Biblioteka Imeni Lenina station. When a change to the plans was introduced with a new station it was decided not to augment the design of the planned large tunnel with parallel tracks separated by a row of columns, but to modify it by increasing its height and building platforms on the sides in what is known as a Parisian Style.Construction began in July 1934, and immediately problems were encountered. Under the street a massive sewage collector of a daily power output of two million buckets existed and was made of fragile pottery pipes. In such conditions even a slight vibration in the soils would have caused a serious accident, especially that the tunnels were only 1.5 - 2 metres away from it. A wide variety of high-speed transport systems makes it difficult to unambiguously classify them. All definitions are conventional underground. For many of the transport system is safe to say that they are (or, conversely, are not) underground, but at the same time there are a number of borderline and hybrid transport systems. The final decision as to include a particular transport system to the subways or not, depends on the accepted definition or can be made empirically. For example, in Serfaus and Novy Afon, there are underground railways, which have some resemblance to the underground metro lines, and therefore are often informally referred to as well. The main features of the underground in 1981, the Committee of UITP Metro proposed a definition of railway metropolitenovskoy: Railroad, designed to be an integral part of the network, which allows to transport large numbers of passengers within urbanized areas by vehicles on the track with an external control, being in space wholly or partly located in the tunnels and completely given over to such use.

Walk around Kremlin
A walk from Aleksandrovsky Sad Metro Station to the Kremlin, Russia
During FIFA World Cup 2018 Russia, I went to the Red square and Saint Basil's Cathedral dozens of times. It was the centre of all activity in FIFA 2018. People from all across the globe gathered there during that event. I started my journey from Filevsky Park metro station and walked through Aleksandrovsky Sad Metro Station and Alexander Garden to reach Kremlin. My Russian friend took my pictures in the Red square with Saint Basil's Cathedral in the background.

Top 10 Moscow Attractions – Things To Do In Moscow
Moscow is a tricky city. It’s big and fast, people always run somewhere, traffic is hard, weather could be completely different: from real cold to scorching heat. However, it’s an amazing one. There are dozens of attractions. Being one of the most breathtaking capitals in the world, Moscow has a wide range of entertainments and cultural hot spots. So here are our fresh version of things to do in Moscow. fifa world cup 2018
Start from the Alexandrovsky Sad (Alexander Garden), a highlight of Moscow center. The garden is famous for its architectural monuments, incredibly beautiful flowerbeds and history. The Eternal Flame in the memory of the fallen heroes in the World War II glows in front of the Kremlin Kutafya Tower. Alexandrovsky Sad is a place that is impossible to miss, if you are going to the Kremlin, a symbol of the Russian State, one of the greatest architectural ensembles in the world, a treasury of amazing relics and monuments of art. The famous Armory Chamber and the Diamond Fund are real treasure houses. The Kremlin is the official President’s residence and remains a gorgeous political landmark. On the way from the Kremlin to the Red Square, you will find the State History Muzeum, with a wonderful collection of artworks, depicting Russian history.
Red Square remains, as it has been for centuries, the heart and soul of Russia. Few places in the world bear the weight of history to the extent that Moscow’s central square does. From the 16th Century St. Basil’s Cathedral – one of the most famous pieces of architecture in the world – to the constructivist pyramid of Lenin’s Mausoleum, Red Square is rich in symbols of Russia’s turbulent and intriguing past.

ALEXANDROVSKY MONASTERY SUZDAL RUSSIA 6-1-2016
Alexandrovsky Monastery (Suzdal)
Music The Eternally begotten and Co Eternal Son
Invincible Lord of Host
The Alexandrovsky Monastery (the Convent of St. Alexander) is situated after Pokrovsky Bridge, on the left, high bank of the Kamenka River, over a ravine. According to a legend, the Convent was founded by Aleksandr (Alexander) Nevsky in 1240. In the old times, the Convent of St. Alexander was known as the Grand Lavra and served as a burial vault for Suzdal princesses.
Nothing has been preserved from that ancient age, apart from two late tombstones in a church; the tombstones bear writings telling that two Suzdal princesses, Mariya and Agrippina, were buried here (in 1362 and 1393, respectively).
During the 1608 to 1610 Polish invasion, the Convent was burned down. In 1695, the Convent's hegumenia (abbess) Domnika made a request to Tsar Peter the Great to construct a new church in the Convent; in the request, she mentioned that the Convent had been founded by Aleksandr Nevsky in 1240.
In 1695, Illarion, the metropolitan of Suzdal, issued a charter for the construction of the new church, which received the name of the Church of Ascension. Funds for the erection of the church were donated by Tsarina Natalya Kirillovna, Peter's mother. The construction of the bell tower falls in the same period.
The church is designed as a high, two-tiered rectangular volume crowned with five spires. From the east side, the rectangular volume is extended with an apse; a heated side-altar is added from the north side and a porch is added from the east. The windows are decorated with carved linings featuring simple columns in the first tier and complex figures in the second tier. Complex figure columns are used also for decorating the high, soaring drums.
The octahedral column of the tented-roofed bell tower is put on a short rectangular volume, with wooden stairs added to it. The bell tower's walls are almost completely left undecorated, which makes it unique among Suzdal's tented-roofed bell towers. The upper part is modestly decorated with carved linings of the arched openings and linings over the roof windows.
In the first half of the 18th century, a short fence was constructed around the convent; the fence was decorated with decorative small towers, stylised as defence towers. It was at the same time that the Holy Gates were constructed (restored in 1947); the Gates featured a two-tiered tower and resembled the Monastery of the Trinity's Holy Gates, which would later be included into the ensemble of the Rizopolozhensky Convent. This resemblance is no coincidence: the fence and the towers of the Convent of St. Alexander were erected under the supervision of Ivan Gryaznov who in the late 17th century was involved in the construction of the Monastery of the Trinity (later destroyed) and the Rizopolozhensky Convent.
In 1764, when the church lands were being secularised, the Convent of St. Alexander was dissolved, with its cathedral being transformed into the town's parish church.
In 2006, the Convent of St. Alexander was handed over back to the Russian Orthodox Church, and in September 2007 the first service was held in the Church of the Ascension.
