BIG4 Castlemaine Gardens Holiday Park on What's Up Downunder
Located in the lovely historic town of Castlemaine in central Victoria, our Park sits beside the Castlemaine Botanic Gardens and YMCA 50m outdoor pool open over summer and is a 10 minute walk from the town centre. We are one and a quarter hour's drive from Melbourne; an hour to Ballarat and 20 mins to Bendigo. Castlemaine is a lovely town to explore, or drive to the nearby towns of Daylesford and Maldon.

Grampians Blue Ribbon Ride to Remember 2015
youtube travel videos
A little gopro video I put together of yesterday’s fundraising ride around the Grampians region. I was told there were about 360 riders involved which is great as the ride raises money for local health services. East Grampians Health Service has been the beneficiary of more than $700,000 raised by the local Ararat branch over the past 12 years.
Last year I did the ride on a 1993 NX650 (which I blew up!)
This year I did the ride on a 2007 Dr650. I wanted to concentrate on featuring bikes and riders more so than the ride itself.
Hope you enjoy the video and make sure you follow my vlog as I am planning a motorcycle travel series around Western Australia
The ride started in Ararat and then heads to the fringes of the Grampians National Park through the townships of Maroona, Willaura, Wickliffe, Lake Bolac, then onto Streatham and back via the Eurambeen-Streatham Road to Geelong Road through to Ararat for a barbecue in the Alexandra Gardens.
