Town of Huntsville wants to dissolve MAHC
Huntsville Council hosted their regular meeting at the Algonquin Theatre on April 23. Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare made a presentation which was followed by questions from council.
It seems some members of council and Mayor Scott Aitchison did not get what they were looking for and passed a motion to request the Ministry of Health dissolve MAHC. Bob Stone was the only councillor to vote against the motion.
We have reached out to MAHC and awaiting their response.

Huntsville Muskoka Canada Main street August 13 2010 Tom Thomson Mural
Muskoka G8 2010 Banner on the Town Bridge. Up along Main street a young Violinist, a French Immersion High School student performing various compositions and enjoying the sunlight. The Algonquin Theater where the Tom Thomson statue and Community Mural Project is underway this summer where everyone is welcome to place their aritistic brush strokes on the Mural hosted by Gerry Lantaigne. Gerry did the same idea with the G8 Leaders during the Summit and the Painting is hung at the Canada G8 Center with the very brushes used by President Barrack Obama. I like the Scene in the lastest mural, because of the White Tent that Tom Thomson would sleep in while out on the lakes of Algonquin Park.
