TOKYO'S ALICE IN WONDERLAND / ALICE ON WEDNESDAY
As a child Alice in Wonderland terrified me. At that time it seemed purely nonsensical, and that unnerved me. But as an adult I have to come to appreciate its creative impact and significance. For that reason I was really excited to explore Alice on Wednesday in the downtown Harajuku district of Tokyo. Not only does it provide wild sight-seeing, it also presents a quintessentially Tokyo phenomenon, wherein a store usually far too niche, weird and strange to survive is able to thrive, due to a large population density.

FIONNA IN JAPAN EP. 8 - SHOPPING IN SHIBUYA/HARAJUKU & ALICE ON WEDNESDAY (JAPAN VLOG) ????????
Day 9 ???????? we start off eating the BEST yakiniku I have ever had and I am telling you to go there if you're visiting Tokyo. I miss that meat till this day... We spend the majority of the day shopping around in Shibuya, Harajuku, and Ueno. We also had dinner with an old friend!

Day 1: Nikki and Jenny start off their vacation by visiting the Meiji Jingu shrine to pay some respects and make some wishes for the new year. Before getting there, they stumble upon Takeshita Street for some great people watching and shopping in Harajuku. Nikki then gives you a tour of her little hotel room at Tokyu Stay in Shibuya. The night continues when Nikki meets up with her good friend Sam and his friends for drinks and dinner at an izakaya.
Day 2: Nikki and Jenny meet up one of Nikki's friends in Shinjuku for lunch and for some serious walking and shopping. Nikki and Jenny have their first meal in Japan via vending machine. They have fun taking Japanese photobooth pictures with huge anime eyes. After a long day, they end the night at the Alice and Wonderland cafe.

I visited the Kawaii Monster Cafe , a total Kawaii themed restaurant and the Alice in Wonderland inspired store called Alice on Wednesday - definitely a worthy stop for alice fans!
