Iraklia - a small paradise!
The island of Iraklia is one of the islands of the so called Small Cyclades which surround the much larger island of Naxos. Iraklia measures 17,5 km2 and has around 110 inhabitants. The island is served by ferries but also sees visitors that come for a daytrip with an excursion boat from Naxos Town. The main port is called Agios Georgios which is situated in the north of Iraklia. Here you find some accommodations, a couple of tavernas and two mini markets. One of these mini markets also sells tickets for the ferries.

Tripyti is a sandy beach located 3 km away from Limenaria on the southwestern coast of Thassos. Tripyti, meaning hole, is named for a hole in rock formations at one edge of the beach. It is organized with umbrellas and chairs, has stunning turquoise water, and is an excellent spot for snorkeling and scuba diving.

This Episode: Cyclades, E16 Paros lies to the west of Naxos, from which it is separated by a channel about 8 kilometres wide. It lies approximately 150 km (93 miles) south-east of Piraeus. The Municipality of Paros includes numerous uninhabited offshore islets totalling 196 sq km of land. Its nearest neighbour is the municipality of Antiparos, which lies to its southwest. Historically, Paros was known for its fine white marble, which gave rise to the term Parian to describe marble or china of similar qualities. Today, abandoned marble quarries and mines can be found on the island, but Paros is primarily known as a popular tourist spot. On the north side of the island is the bay of Naoussa or Agoussa, which provides a safe and spacious harbour. Naoussa is an old fishing village marked by tourism but not too overwhelmed, it is characterized by its Venetian port and its many restaurants. The architecture of the area is also incredible. A local bar scene welcoming to international tourists is growing as visitor numbers increase to Paros. Naoussa is considered to be one of the prettiest villages in the Cyclades which despite the tourism has managed to keep its authenticity, its traditional character and its charm, with its whitewashed and flowered houses, churches and chapels, surrounded by labyrinth-like narrow, stone paved streets. Paros is also famous for its numerous beautiful golden beaches, from the wildest and more secluded beaches to the fully organized ones, covering all tastes and needs. Every 23rd of August, nine days after the Assumption of the Virgin, a great festivity is celebrated in Naoussa, during which a representation of the pirates raids is performed by the young people of the village, fireworks are thrown while dancing, eating and drinking continues until dawn. Many archaeological sites and monuments can be found in the area which are well worth visiting
Aliki is beautiful coastal village with a picturesque port, located 13km south of Parikia. . The locals stand out for their kindness and open heart. Aliki takes great care of the food lovers, as a result you will be greatly satisfied from the traditional taverns and the restaurants whose owners grow their own products in order to offer you the best dishes. The village is mostly recommended for family holidays due to its clear sandy beach and taverns. During the summer months, the beaches around Aliki are favourite places for windsurfers. There are also many small coves ideal for total privacy and relaxation. The Cycladic folklore museum can be visited in the suburbs of Aliki, this museum hosts handmade exhibits and miniatures of ships or important monuments, depicting the interesting tradition of Cyclades islands and on the 6th of August in Aliki everyone can join in to celebrate the Festival of Sotiros with live music, plenty of food and local wine.

Alogomandra beach and semi cave
Alogomandra is the beach near the small fishing port of Agios Konstantinos, and it is sometimes called Agios Konstantinos beach. It is long, with fine sand, and it is distinguished by the peculiar rock arch in one of its ends, forming something like a semi-cave.
