We dropped by Nest Museum when we stayed at Montreux since it was a short train ride away (and a few minutes walk off the train station). Fun, interactive museum with lots to do for both adults and kids.

Le 21 juin 1985, lAlimentarium sinvitait à la table des institutions culturelles de Suisse. Depuis, plus dun million de visiteurs ont exploré ce musée unique en son genre puisque le seul à traiter de lalimentation en général.
Le musée célèbre en 2010 ses 25 ans au gré d'un programme aussi inédit que nourrissant, construit autour dun concours de courts métrages, Prix de Court, et de quatre journées festives, à dévorer à pleines dents. La première d'entre elles vous a invité à faire le fête à l'enseigne de Body Instinct. Réservez la date de la deuxième: dimanche 2 mai, avec Back to Nature.

Montreux is a traditional resort town on Lake Geneva. Nestled between steep hills and the lakeside, it's known for its mild microclimate and the Montreux Jazz Festival, held in July. The town's promenade is lined with flowers, sculptures, Mediterranean trees and grand Belle Époque buildings. Offshore is a medieval island castle, Château de Chillon, with ramparts, formal halls and a chapel with 14th-century murals.
Vevey is a Swiss town on Lake Geneva. On the promenade, marked by a giant fork protruding from the lake, is the nutrition museum Alimentarium, with culinary objects and workshops. A Charlie Chaplin statue is nearby. This one-time Vevey resident is also celebrated at Chaplin’s World, on his former country estate. The Musée Jenisch is dedicated to art on paper, with works by Dürer, Goya, Degas, Picasso and others.

Geneva Trip - Vevey Fork
This stainless steel fork sculpture stands 8m tall. It's a favourite of mine. You might ask me why I took a video of something that isn't moving.
It was designed by Jean-Pierre Zaugg to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Alimentarium (1995). In 2007 the fork returned and was kept by popular demand.
