All Aboard Braemar Model Railways
Model Railway Displays.
Welcome to All Aboard Braemar Model Railway displays and the home of Fleischmann and LGB in Australia.
This model railway business has been functioning for over 37 years and moved to the Southern Highlands in 1987.
Our displays were first opened to the general public in 1996.
We chose to use Fleischmann and LGB equipment as they are the world leaders in Model railway manufacturing and pay particular attention to reliability, durability and quality. These models represent good value for money.
On the indoor layouts (two HO and one N Gauge), all the track, signals, turntable, locomotives and rolling stock are made by Fleischmann. Since opening in 1996 these layouts have operated for over 12,000 hours (over 1,000 hrs/year).
The outdoor/indoor Garden Railway has been operating since January 1999 (extended in 2008). All models, track, locomotives and rolling stock are manufactured by LGB and are designed to operate indoors or outdoors, no matter what the weather. All plastic parts are UV protected and the Brass rail is the highest quality possible.
We know that you will enjoy the displays. So when you visit make sure you bring some friends with you.
Full colour catalogues for each manufacturer's range of products are available at the service counter.
Model trains, tracks, layouts and accessories on sale.
All the equipment that you will see - from the trains, tracks, buildings and scenery, and any of the layouts, are available through our shop.
We also stock HAG, Magic Train, Ühlenbrock, Vollmer, Brawa, NOCH, Seuthe and Sommerfeldt and other the widest range of railway models and accessories in all gauges.

The Model Train Expo 2016
This film was made on my Samsung Card Camera but I don't use it due to the films that are separated not together which is annoying.
I brought another engine which looks like James but he has LMS a Railway Company Name. But these days British Railways was better.
I even saw an engine in Fleischmann Brand with words Magic Train. He's called Smokey and I thought i'd find those engines in Ebay. I found two.
The Engine like James is called Hebble and i'm using him as to help my YouTube Program Percy The Small Engine & Friends get back on track.
The last time I was there in 2014 I filmed the sets with The 2001 Sony Video8 Camera.
Stay tuned for Duncan's ninth series.
HO Scale Australian Class BL29
In the early 90's my dad visited Australia and brought me back this little set of Australian trains. It has a locomotive and three passenger cars. It still works after all these year and I really like the locomotive.
According to the pamphlet that came in the box, these engines were built in 1983-1984 and were mainly used to pull freight trains. They are all still in service today for Australia National.

Former site of Braemar Railway Station
Nothing remains here.
The arrow indicates the approximate location of where the platform once was*.
Next stop south of Colo Vale. The original Main Southern Line used to run along this route, until it was replaced in 1919 with a less steep one (limitations of steam engines, as well as increasing traffic). The present route between Picton and Mittagong now runs past Tahmoor, Bargo and Yerinbool.
