Northamptonshire Churches: Britain's Best Surprise
Northamptonshire is populated with some of the country’s most beautiful and interesting churches. In date they stretch from Saxon times (Brixworth is the largest remaining 9th century church of it’s type in Europe) to the 20th century (with Ninian Comper’s masterpiece at St Marys Wellingborough).
The Volta Tower Remains Display at Wellingborough Museum
Further to a previous video of these remains, filmed on a poorer quality camera, I present you this footage in HD!
This is the display at Wellingborough Museum of the remains of the Finedon Volta Tower, built in 1865 and collapsing in 1951 killing Mrs Florence Northen who lived there. On display at the museum are the two name stones from either side of the front door, a shield from above the porch and a cherub from the top of the tower. To find out further information and photos of the Volta Tower, please visit my website: thevoltatower.weebly.com
Filmed on my Sony Cybershot DSC-H55 digital camera in April 2014.

Jesus Family Cathedral Wellingborough
Jesus Family Cathedral Church is a vibrant growing church in England birthed in the community of Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. We are a church that is dedicated to equipping, establishing, extending and encouraging God's people for the return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Our Pastor's heart primarily is to love people and above all, to love God. Our aim is to see as many souls as possible come into the kingdom of God and to a knowledge of His dear son Jesus Christ. We are passionate about the word of God, about worship, about prayer and about people. Our mandate is to promote Jesus Christ throughout the whole world, advancing the Christian faith and to be the most trusted church where people would love to worship and serve God. To this end we are attempting to preach the gospel in every format, not just in our church services. We aim to preach the gospel by television, radio, in books and all other types of media.
