No Flying. New Brighton hit by storm (after the storm footage)
Unfortunately it was far to windy to get any aerial footage, sorry :(
This is my favourite place to fly, Its just up the road and I have done so many video's here, but today it was smashed by a large storm. This is not my usual video BUT this will show you why I have not been doing a lot of flying video's lately. some of the car's where floating in the sea.
The wind is incredible and blows you off you're feet. I have had sleepless nights waiting for the shed roof to blow off and all my quadcopters fly away.
Here's a video I done here when I first got the phantom:

Father of girl at centre of Jamie Carragher spitting storm revealed
This is the father who filmed Jamie Carragher's spitting at his 14-year-old daughter, MailOnline can reveal.Andy Hughes, a die-hard Manchester United fan, used his mobile phone to record the shameful incident that has left Carragher clinging on to his £1million-a-year Sky Sports job.Mr Hughes, from Colwyn Bay, north Wales, shouted: '2-1, 2-1, unlucky Jamie lad, 2-1 lad' from his open car window after spotting the TV presenter in traffic following Liverpool's loss to Manchester United on Saturday. He then watched as former Liverpool star Carragher launch a mouthful of spit, which hit his 14-year-old daughter sat in the car.Mr Hughes – who says that he 'hates Scousers' on his Instagram account – filmed the encounter with the TV presenter on his mobile phone. In the footage his daughter can be heard saying: 'He spat on me.'Hughes asks her: 'Where did it hit you?' The schoolgirl replies: 'On my face.' His daughter then burst into tears, Hughes claims. The girl's 38-year-old mother Sarah was also in the car.Carragher, who was born Bootle, Merseyside, and is worth £15 million, has since phoned Hughes to apologise for spitting at his daughter in a 'moment of madness'.Mr Hughes has also been spoken to by police as enquries are ongoing into the incident. He and his wife have urged Sky Sports not to sack the former Liverpool defender over the altercation. He said: 'We don't want him to lose his job.It is not about that.We wanted an apology and explanation. He seems contrite.Everyone makes mistakes, we are all human.' Mrs Hughes added: 'He did seem extremely sorry.' Carragher, who claimed Mr Hughes goaded him, has been suspended by Sky Sports and he has been axed by Danish channel TV3 Sport. However he said he had apologised to the family and would apologise again. He told Sky News: 'I called the family obviously they were upset and disappointed last night.'I spoke to the 14-year-old girl. That was my biggest regret.'There's lots of regrets for what has happened but certainly the biggest one is for the 14-year-old girl to be caught in the middle of my altercation with her father.'That devastates me a little bit more than anything else as a young girl has become embroiled in this when she wasn't involved.' In an emotional interview on Sky News yesterday Carragher said what he did was the 'lowest of the low' and that he was 'devastated' by his 'unacceptable' behaviour. After watching footage of the incident the former England international said: 'A moment of madness which is difficult to explain.'Watching those clips back it feels like an out of body thing – just that moment of madness for four or five seconds.'No matter what the circumstances for anyone you can't ever behave like that. That is just unacceptable.'My biggest regret is for the 14-year-old girl to be caught in the middle of it.That devastates me more than anything.'I have a daughter exactly the same age and if somebody had done that it's difficult for me to find the words to how I would react.' Thanks for finding my video and pressing play!
This is my third Virgin West Coast Trip Report and probably the most comprehensive. I really enjoyed this brief journey, of just over two hours. We travel from London Euston station and head for Liverpool Lime Street. City centre to city centre, it’s 2h12 minutes of pleasant scenery and tasty food, with breakfast served to my seat.
Virgin provide good value for money on this route. My ticket cost around £30 and included lounge access, free WiFi, onboard entertainment, and a cooked breakfast and beverages. Not bad. Of course, you have to book ahead to get the best deals!
Next UK train trip will be uploaded in 4 weeks’ time - it’ll be a belter, the GWR Pullman. Until then, I’ve got three air trips to publish.
The signalling maps featured can be found here:
Enjoy the report.
Do you have any ideas for future trip reports? Something you've never seen on YouTube before? Why not suggest it to me in the comments? I read every single one! ????????
Enjoy the video, and thanks for watching. If you subscribe, then thanks for being part of the channel!

UK Coastguard helicopter makes 500 mile mercy dash to rescue unwell yachtsman in the Atlantic
The UK Coastguard search and rescue helicopter made an incredible 530 mile round trip yesterday to rescue a desperately unwell yachtsman 203nm west south west from the Isles of the Scilly, in the Atlantic sea.
The yacht crew used their satellite phone to declare their Mayday to the Coastguard at 11.40am yesterday (29 June) reporting that one of their crew was unwell and needed urgent medical assistance.
Due to the distance involved communication with the vessel was poor and patchy, so the UK Coastguard got the yacht to activate their EPIRB to establish their exact position. A Mayday relay broadcast was then issued asking all nearby vessels for assistance.
A military fixed wing aircraft and an Irish Casa fixed wing aircraft took turns to establish communications with the vessel so that information could be relayed back to the UK Aeronautical Rescue Co-ordination Centre (ARCC) which is based at the National Maritime Operations Centre (NMOC) in Fareham. The Coastguard were able to keep in constant contact with the vessel and relay information to the UK Coastguard search and rescue helicopter based at Newquay who was making its way to the stricken casualty.
The Coastguard helicopter refuelled in the Isles of Scilly and arrived on scene just before 4pm and winched the casualty on board. On its return journey it refuelled again on the Scillies and the casualty was landed at Newquay Airport for further transfer to Treliske Hospital by land ambulance.
Mark Rodaway, Commander for the UK Coastguard said: ‘At this range, it was vital that the helicopter was able to rendezvous with the vessel and evacuate the injured crewman with as little delay as possible. This is a superb example of military and Irish Coastguard co-operation and we would like to thank all those who have played their part in bringing this rescue to a textbook conclusion. Our priority is to protect life at sea and we will always do everything possible to provide assistance for a mariner in need. Thankfully, we have been able to get him to hospital and we hope he is on the road to recovery after his ordeal.'
Mark Coupland, Chief Pilot for the UK Coastguard search and rescue helicopter based at Newquay Airport said: ‘Our Coastguard helicopters have a range of just over 200 nautical miles dependant on the wind . Due to the long range involved, we were supported by military and Irish Casa fixed wing aircraft to help us complete the mission successfully. They provided vital communications assistance between the vessel and our aircraft as well as maintaining a watchful eye over us at such a great distance from land. Just as importantly they made sure the vessel had adjusted its course to prepare for the winching which saved us valuable time on scene . Their support ensured our hover time was dramatically reduced which meant we were able to winch the crewman on board in a matter of minutes. In the heavy sea state the vessel was obviously having difficulty maintaining a steady course which we required to conduct a transfer from the deck. Due to the limited time available to us we suggested they stream their dinghy with the casualty in it to allow a swift pick up while maintaining clearance from the yacht’s mast. When you’re operating at the limits of your range and endurance in a potentially life and death situation such as this one, every minute counts. We wish the crewman a speedy recovery.’

The Largest Oil Rig in The World
Perdido is the deepest floating oil rig (platform) in the world at a water depth of about 2450 meters operated by the Shell Oil Company in the Gulf of Mexico.
The Perdido is located in the Perdido fold belt which is a rich discovery of crude oil and natural gas that lies in water that is nearly 8000 feet deep. The platform's peak production will be 100,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. At 267 meters, the Perdido is nearly as tall as the Eiffel Tower.
An oil rig is a large structure with facilities to drill wells, to extract and process oil and natural gas, and to temporarily store product until it can be brought to shore for refining and marketing. In many cases, the platform contains facilities to house the workforce as well.

Dramatic moment Coastguard helicopter rescues glider pilot
Please contact Eddie Mitchell (@Brighton Snapper on Twitter) for footage.
A glider pilot has had a lucky escape after crashing into trees on the South Downs.
HM Coastguard’s Aeronautical Rescue Coordination Centre received a call from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service just after 13:15 yesterday (2 February), requesting assistance after a glider crashed and became stuck, approximately 50ft up in a tree, at Chanctonbury Ring, on the South Downs, Sussex.
The HM Coastguard search and rescue helicopter from Lee on Solent, West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, Sussex Police, South East Ambulance Service (SECAmb) and their Hazardous Area Response Team were all sent.
The gilder was in such a precarious position, in a thick line of trees, that the decision was made to winch the man to safety. He was then passed into the care of the ambulance service to be checked over.
HM Coastguard Helicopter Pilot, Jason Davies, said: ‘This was an unusual job, when we first arrived we were unsure, due to the precarious position of the glider, if we were going to be able to assist. There was a real possibility that the rotor wash of the helicopter could dislodge the glider and its pilot from the tree. Fortunately, the Fire Service and HART teams were able to secure the glider with ropes.
'The helicopter hovered at 200ft and kept a steady and stable position over the glider to minimise the rotor wash. The winching was tricky as he had crashed into a thick tree line, on a hillside, and the winchman had to navigate himself through the trees. Thankfully we were able to rescue the man who was met by his wife before being checked over by the ambulance service.’
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Group Manger Jeremy Beard said: ‘West Sussex Fire and Rescue Technical Rescue team working with SECAmb’s Hazardous Area Response Team were able to set up a rope system to secure the glider in place.
'Due to the precarious position of the glider it would have been exceptionally challenging to safely reach the pilot and rescue by line. As a result and in discussion with the Pilot and Winchman, it was decided to make an attempt to rescue from air whilst monitoring safety and stability of the glider.
‘It was an exceptionally challenging rescue for which we are very grateful for the skill, determination and courage of the coastguard helicopter crew to make the rescue and avoid the necessity of risking further emergency responders safety through a rescue by alternative means which was being planned for as a backup.’

Hang Gliding at Newport, Oregon (Moolack beach, Otter Rock) 01/05/20
The 25-30mph strong west wind produced consistent onshore flow for Greg and I to soar along the coastline from Yaquina Head to Otter Rock. More photos from yesterday and view from my blog.
It was another fantastic day again. Flew Moolack Beach (Newport, Oregon) for almost 3 hrs with Greg in sunny , warm and strong wind conditions again. It was blowing 30+mph at launch. Conditions were similar to yesterday at Area B (Fort Steve's State Park near Warrenton, Oregon) but can get much higher than yesterday. Rain came after done packing up. I'll post video and photos later.
Greg Krutzikowsky Report
Yes it was on in a big way! Rick was here and setting up when I walked down to look. It was cranking about 25 on launch from the west with not a cloud in site all the way to the horizon. I went and got my gear and set up. Rick launched just as I was finishing set up. I convinced Rick to let me hold his nose wires and walk him out to launch saying it is much safer. He let me do that. He said he had it, but the glider was not loaded up for him to set into the air. He did take off shortly afterward and said oh shit but he was fine and his launch was clean. Perhaps he just didn't expect to go straight up with almost no ground speed. Fortunately another pilot was there too. A guy named Craig who just moved into Depoe Bay. Not current, but has a Falcon 4. He helped me to launch. It was great. I flew to Yaquina Head first. By this time there was a squall moving in, so I stayed down that way slightly upwind of the squall until it moved through. Then both Rick and I headed back to launch. It got light and we were just able to stay up. In fact I unzipped and thought about landing, but then I saw a bit more wind coming as the solid cloud cover moved in. It got really good, but a bit more southerly in direction so I headed to Cape Foulweather and managed to get up just over 2 K. Then headed back and landed on the beach. Rick landed just after me. He didn't make it up over Foulweather on his North Wing single surface, but had a great flight. DeMott was there and helped by giving us a ride back to launch after we packed up. Epic day and we avoided all rain, but I wouldn't exactly say we bagged 'em dry given how wet the beach was.
