Agios Mamantos Celebration SYDNEY AUSTRALIA
The celebration of Agios Mamantos. Celebrated in Sydney Australia at the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia on September 2nd, 2012. This event is proudly supported by the hundreds of immigrants who have settled from Troulli Cyprus. They have contributed so much to the Australian way of life and have shaped the Greek Cypriot community to what it is today. We hope that the tradition and holy celebration of Agios Mamantos is commemorated for many years to come by the generations of children, grand children and great grandchildren that have been celebrating this important event since the early 1940s!

EXPLORING BRISBANE, the magnificent GOTHIC-REVIVAL CATHEDRAL ⛪ of ST JOHN'S (AUSTRALIA)
SUBSCRIBE!! - Let's visit the magnificent St John's Cathedral which is the Anglican cathedral of Brisbane and the metropolitan cathedral of the ecclesiastical province of Queensland, Australia. The cathedral is situated in Ann Street in the Brisbane central business district, and is the successor to an earlier pro-cathedral, which occupied part of the contemporary Queens Gardens on William Street, from 1854 to 1904. The cathedral is the second oldest Anglican church in Brisbane, predated only by the extant All Saints church on Wickham Terrace (1862). It is also the only existing building with a stone vaulted ceiling in the southern hemisphere. The cathedral is listed on the Queensland Heritage Register.

Australia Wedding, Lacey & Josh, Brisbane LDS Temple
redtiecinema.com
Early in 2016, Lacey & Josh spent an amazing day sealing their love to each other for all of time and eternity.
Lacey, US born, met Josh years ago while working a nanny job in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. From their first dinner together, in which Josh took some time away from his favorite hobby, World of Warcraft, they knew there was something special. After Lacey returned to the states they kept in contact and their relationship just continued to grow. Even though they are so many miles apart, their love led to this day.
March 12, 2016, these two finally were able to wed in the Brisbane LDS Temple. Lacey looked so beautiful in her custom made pink dress and Josh looked handsome as ever in his suite.
Lacey surprised Josh with a romantic little first look, in which he was floored by his beautiful bride to be.
The day continued with a bridal shoot on the beaches of Gold Coast City. Unfortunately the rain rolled in and cut it all short and forced us to move on to the backyard reception Lacey decorated and planned.
The night was just so magical as Lacey danced with her father and Josh. Both of which were so sweet and magical.
Congrats Lacey & Josh on your Temple Marriage in the Brisbane, Australia Temple! I cant wait to come back and visit you two!

SBS Covers Armenian Protest of Safarov Release in Canberra, Australia
CANBERRA: Busloads of Armenian-Australians joined in the international condemnation over the extradition and pardon of Azeri lieutenant Ramil Safarov by protesting in front of the Hungarian Embassy in Canberra.
SBS Television and several radio stations covered the demonstration of the 250 members of the community, who stood in solidarity with slain Armenian solider Gurgen Margaryan, who was axed to death by Safarov during a 2004 NATO Partnership for Peace program in Hungary.
Safarov was expected to serve a life sentence in Hungary, however, was extradited to Azerbaijan where he was immediately pardoned by the Azeri government. Upon returning to Azerbaijan, Safarov has been treated as a national hero, causing fury in the international Armenian community.
The protest, a joint effort by the community's Armenian churches, political, youth and relief organisations, strongly conveyed the feelings of Armenian-Australians, calling upon the Hungarian authorities to condemn the actions of Azerbaijian.
This message was conveyed with loud chants and signs reading Punish not Pardon, Shame Hungary Shame, We Want Justice, A crime punished is a crime encouraged, and others.
During the two hour demonstration, Armenian National Committee of Australia (ANC Australia) Executive Director Vache Kahramanian and Father Avedis Hambardzumyan of the Armenian Apostolic Church met with the Hungarian Ambassador to Australia, Anna Siko. During the meeting, which occurred to a backdrop of strong chants from the crowd outside, Siko was presented with a letter on behalf of the community calling upon the following:
1. The condemnation by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban of his Azeri counterpart Ilham Aliyev for pardoning a convicted murderer despite assurances provided by Azerbaijan;
2. The condemnation of Azerbaijan's continued aggression and threats of war against the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh; and
3. Recognition of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh as an independent state to ensure the safety and security of its people.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Kahramanian addressed the gathered, stating: Our issue is not with the peaceful people of Hungary but with those officials in Budapest who allowed the extradition of a convicted cold-blooded murderer.
We will continue to pursue the Hungarian authorities through the Embassy in Canberra until we receive a response which is not a response that the Hungarian government wants to hear, but a response which is just and correct.
Today we not only fight for the memory of an Armenian solider but as human beings of this world we fight for the dignity of all mankind.
The protest received coverage through SBS TV World News, ABC Radio and SBS Radio.
