Amazing Starling Murmuration - Lizard Point - Cornwall (4K)

One of the things you will never be able to forget is when you see a flock of starlings flying together: The murmuration.
Their swarm behaviour creates complex shapes silhouetted against the sky, a phenomenon known locally as sort sol (Black Sun).[32] Flocks of anything from five to fifty thousand common starlings form in areas of the UK just before sundown during mid winter.

Revisit: Low Level Armitage Shanks Nisa / The Peak, Tigh An Truish, Balvicar

Decided to do another film of this beauty. The Shanks slab had a blocked drain so I left that out.

The first thing I did in this take is see if there was a model name printed on the left hand side of the pan's exterior (a common trait of older Armitage Shanks and Shanks products) and indeed there was, but instead of Kyle, it read Nisa. So this is the more modern version of the art deco Shanks Nisa EL SHIRES MAN 738 found rigged up to a high level Dudley Acclaim in a pub. Another thing I then discovered is that the syphon is a very rare 'Armitage' Freeflo, making it the first Armitage Ware/Armitage product I've seen in person. It's also holding up extremely well for its age.

The flushes are still good on this toilet. Powerful enough, dying down at the end with a slight continuous glug to finish. I also captured the refill in this take.
