Performance in the space of Unfreedom by art group 'Petino
The performance was presented to the audience in the assembly hall of corrective labour colony 118/4 (located in Bor, a settlement in Voronezh Region). The labour colony specialized in furniture manufacturing; it was shut down in 1989. Memories of the time spent in the Bor labour colony can be found in “To Build a Castle: My Life as a Dissenter” (1978) (the Russian title is “And the Wind Returns…”) by Vladimir Bukovsky, a writer, neurophysiologist and former Soviet political dissident, and “23 chambers” (2006) by Andrey Hanzhin, a self-published poet and writer.
