After our trip up Schilthorn and our visit to the James Bond Experience, we ventured back down to Murren to take our next skyride up to Allmendhubel! From here, we hiked all along the Mountain-View Trail taking in the amazing mountain views...please come and join us!

Walk to the train to Mürren and the Allmendhubel in Switzerland
Von Lauterbrunnen ( der Wasserfall ist zu sehen) mit der Seilbahn auf die Grütschalp, Vorn dort mit der Bahn geht es nach Mürren. Von da kann man zu Fuß oder mit der Bahn auf den Allmendhubel fahren und ein leckere Ovomaltine genießen.
Of Lauterbrunnen (the waterfall is visible) with the cable car to the Grütschalp, there goes the front of the train there to Mürren. From there you can travel on foot or by train to Allmendhubel and enjoy a delicious Ovaltine.

And now on to Switzerland! Our destination was Mürren, a gorgeous cliffside town above the Lauterbrunnen valley where you can see stunning views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks. There are no cars allowed in Mürren, so to get up there you have to either take two gondolas, or a gondola and a small train.
We made a point to eat a lot of traditional Swiss food, including fondue, raclette, and rosti. Here are the two restaurants featured in the video:

Walk Murren to Gimmelwald
They say this a 20 minute walk from Murren to Gimmelwald, probably a difference of 800ft. Takes a bit longer, especially going up back to Murren :) Nice to have a massage back at the hotel afterwards.
