Walking tour of Preveza Greece

Preveza (Greek: Πρέβεζα, pronounced [ˈpreveza]) is a town in the region of Epirus, northwestern Greece, located at the mouth of the Ambracian Gulf. It is the capital of the regional unit of Preveza, which is part of the region of Epirus. The Aktio-Preveza Immersed Tunnel, the first and so far only undersea tunnel in Greece, was completed in 2002 and connects Preveza to Aktio in western Acarnania in the region of Aetolia-Acarnania. The ruins of the ancient city of Nicopolis lie 7 kilometres (4 miles) north of the city.

Beautiful sandy-rock beach on 20km from Parga towards Preveza. You follow the left turn to Kalanaki from the main road. There is a big parking place and little bar on the beach. Shower also. A little treasure. There si sun on half beach till 7pm and on half till 8.30pm

Parga (Πάργα) is a very popular seaside resort located in the Epirus region in northwestern Greece. It boasts beautiful natural sceneries, crystal clear sea, beautiful beaches and lush subtropical vegetation with a very rugged coastline.
Sivota (Σύβοτα) is a small seaside resort on the west coast of Greece (26 km from the port of Igoumenitsa and 33 km from the town of Parga), opposite the island of Corfu. Wherever you go, you will always find a larger or smaller beach with stunning views of the sea and surrounding mountains.
Ammoudia (Αμμουδιά) is a small fishing village in Epirus. The mouth of the river Acheron is in the village. In ancient Greek mythology, Acheron (Ἀχέρων) was known as the river of woe, and was one of the five rivers of the Greek underworld. In the Homeric poems, the Acheron was described as a river of Hades. Not far from Glyki you will find the charming Souli watermills with a small tavern and fairytale atmosphere.
