Camping at Aloomba Lavender Farm
About 20kms out of Stanthorpe near Liston we arrived at Aloomba Lavender farm. We were greeted by Tere a lovely helpful lady who runs the farm with her husband Peter.
There is a beautifully set out area for tea and scones, a gift shop, vege garden and showers and toilets available.
We camped at the farm for one night, just before the bushfires. We had the place to ourselves. The resident dog Tilly came and had a long play with our dog scout before Peter came for a chat and took her for the evening. We enjoyed viewing the beautiful sunset as the day ended.
We felt very welcome in such a beautiful part of Australia.
We highly recommend visiting if you are in the area.
