Nicklebray McLaren Vale Wines
Winemaker: Bradley May
Situated in the beautiful South Australian McLaren Vale district, the May family grow, pick and make all of their wines on the family property. Always focused on creating great wines to showcase each vintage and variety as the grapes dictate, it is the care and dare we say love found in each vintage that separates these wines from the larger yield, more commercially focused wineries in the district.
2007 Nicklebray McLaren Vale Sunset Chardonnay Valued at $124 a 6 pack. Our price $80 Save 36%
Displays a lemon-yellow colour. A fragrant mix of rock melon and grapefruit with hints of wheat germ and flint, with crisp zesty lemon/lime palate, making a light refreshing wine with a smooth, creamy body.

Seafood such as fresh oysters, fried whiting or pan-fried scallops.
2007 Nicklebray McLaren Vale Indea Viognier Valued at $178 a 6 pack. Our price $93. Save 47%
Pale straw in colour. The fragrant honeysuckle and candied orange nose is grounded with cardamom pod and almond meal nose. A sweet grapefruit tang is met with a spicy, oily warmth. Caramelised barley and cashew nut finish off the pleasing palate.

Crimson red in colour, the sweet ripe blackcurrant fruit complexes with the earthiness of toasted ground spices and fresh aniseed. The seamless palate integrates the fruit sweetness of raspberries with cedar finishing and fine savory tannins.
Enjoy With:
Rack of lamb, kangaroo, or tomato basil & olive sauce with freshly made pasta or even with a light chicken or seafood dish for a complete contrast.

Wine Gallery - Grenache - Alpha Box and Dice 'Tarot' Grenache 2018
Check out the Wine Gallery's chief wine officer, Banjo Harris Plane as he taste tests all our latest wine adventures.
Alpha Box and Dice (AB&D) arent afraid of experimentation and 'thinking outside the box'.....must be why we like them so much. This is Grenache, viewed through their slightly weird, slightly awesome lense.
Plenty of winemaking clever stuff here - whole bunch fermentation, carbonic maceration and long lees aging in tank and puncheon, but don't worry about that. The energy and nerve of the wine is retained and the drinkability is way high.
Red plum, white pepper, honey, spiced cherry, raspberry. Plenty of fruit and plenty of fun. Great stuff.
You can find food pairings, matching recipes and the winemakers story all here
And be sure to visit the Wine Gallery for a personalised monthly wine journey delivered to your door.
