Alpsee - Travel Germany [4K]
The Alpsee is a lake in the Ostallgäu district of Bavaria, Germany, located about 4 kilometres southeast of Füssen. It is close to the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles.
The lake has just under five kilometres of shoreline and a depth of up to 62 metres. It is a popular tourist attraction, given its proximity to the castles and the wild swans that inhabit the lake. Boats are available for rent and there is a wide variety of hiking trails in the vicinity. Read more:

The towns of Fussen and Schwangau offer a huge array of attractions with the most famous being Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles. Often overlooked are the nearby lakes and hiking trails which, as you've probably guessed by now, are completely free! The castles are a bit more expensive, but well worth the visit if you're in the area. Schwangau is a more expensive town as it tends to be more touristy and I would plan to do more picnicking or limit your time to the attractions you'd like to see before heading to Fussen. There are trails leading from Fussen to the castles if you're up for a hike, or you can get stellar views from the nearby roads and mountains of the castles. The museum of St. Mang's abbey showcases Füssen's violin- and lute-making industry. The eclectic Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau Castle lie southeast of the town. Nearby Tegelberg mountain has a ski resort, a panoramic cable car and an alpine slide.

Wir machen einen Rundgang durch den Ortsteil Hohenschwangau am Alpsee in Bayern. Wir gehen am Schloß Hohenschwangau vorbei bis zum Alpsee. Auf dem Rückweg gehen wir vor bis zur Straße zum Schloß Neuschwanstein hinauf.

Wir starten unseren Rundgang vor dem Gasthof Alpsee in Bühl am Großen Alpsee bei Immenstadt. Wir gehen durch die Seestraße vor bis zur Seepromenade and hinüber zur Minigolfanlage. Anschließend geht es über die Kirchsteige hinauf zur Pfarrkirche St. Stephan und dann hinunter in die Gruft der Grabeskirche.
