Alum Bay
Paul 'scruffy' Martin visits Alum Bay which is a bay near the westernmost point of the Isle of Wight, England, within close sight of the Needles rock formation. Of geological interest and a tourist attraction, the bay is noted for its multi-coloured sand cliffs. The waters and adjoining seabed form part of the Needles Marine Conservation Zone and the shore and heath above are part of the Headon Warren and West High Down Site of Special Scientific Interest.

A special weekend aboard Luxury Sports Cruiser, Life's a Dream
motorcharters.com
What could be better than a day spent relaxing aboard our Luxury Sports Cruiser, Life's a Dream? . Our guests were met with a glass of bubbles at Swanwick Marina, while we discussed our itinerary for the weekend. This included spectacular views of the Queen Mary 2, a whizz around the Solent Forts, they had a fascinating tale to tell and a delicious lunch at The Hut Restaurant in beautiful Colwell Bay on the Isle of Wight. The Hut can be reached by land, sea and air and our RIB Shockwave could easily anchor off the front of the restaurant for drop off's and pick up's. After a leisurely lunch and taking in Alum Bay and The Needles we headed off to Poole Harbour, where we spend the evening at Rick Stein's Restaurant, which had beautiful views over the harbour. After an overnight stay, we met Life's a Dream in the harbour and motored our way back to Swanwick Marina.
