Alvi's Drift - Albertus Viljoen 2012 - Worcester
Alvi's Drift - Albertus Viljoen 2012 - Worcester tasted 100% blind by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
Dark ruby red colour with some evolution. The nose shows some evolution as well with new oak, smoke, spice box, leather and red berries. The palate shows medium weight with fresh acidity, crushed berry fruit, plum and gingerbread spice. Nicely firm backbone of tannin, mild spices and a long peppery finish with some complexity and harmony.
