On 34.km from Limenas(19.km from Potos) on east coast of Thassos island is the beach(or 2 beaches) with a most content.The main beach is with a beautiful color,nice sand and good entry into the sea.50 m behind is another,smaller beach and around the Aliki is archaeological site.Definitely mast see beach.

Breathtaking underwater video of me snorkeling in the water around the smaller beach of Alyki.
Alyki is a small spot in the north east of Thassos island in Greece. As you maybe know, Aliki is a peninsula with two beaches. The western beach is the most popular with bars and music. The smaller beach, where this video was made, is way more quite and somehow 'forgotten'.
For people who love to swim and snorkel, this is the Aliki beach where you must go as you can see in this video. From the beach its a 10 minute swim to a large rock before the coast where the biggest part of this video was taken.
The water is very deep and i must say, this was the best snorkeling experience i had on Thassos island. Enjoy and please leave your comments :)

Aliki is one of the most popular beaches on Thassos. Fine white sand and turquoise water, along with umbrellas, chairs, and a small beachside tavern/canteen attract many visitors in the summer. The beach is wrapped around a small cove, and is surrounded by green pine forests. The water is shallow, so it is an ideal place for families.
