Story Behind The NEST | C:Lab by Cirque du Soleil
NEST is an immersive experiment initiated by C:LAB, a creative laboratory within Cirque du Soleil. Originally designed as a sensory experience for the 2015 edition of the C2 Montreal conference, visitors to the NEST were invited to venture inside, two strangers at a time, and participate in a mysterious ritual of choice and chance. Those brave enough to enter the NEST found themselves engaged in a curious and tactile exploration of intuition—that essential, yet elusive, element of any creative process.
A concept designed by Melissa Thompson & Viviana De Loera, set design by Anne-Séguin Poirier.

Le NID est une expérience immersive créée par le C:LAB, le laboratoire créatif du Cirque du Soleil. Au départ, le NID a été conçu comme une expérience sensorielle pour l’édition 2015 de C2 Montréal; les visiteurs du NID ont été invités à s’aventurer à l’intérieur, deux inconnus à la fois, et à participer à un mystérieux rituel fondé sur les choix et le hasard. Les braves qui ont osé pénétrer dans le NID se sont retrouvés engagés dans une étrange exploration tactile de l’intuition, cet élément indéfinissable, pourtant essentiel à tout processus de création.
