Presidential cars hit the roads in Hanoi for Trump
Please click REGISTER CHANNEL and COMPLETE the video to contribute to improving the channel. Thank you!
---------------------------------------
Two armored cars that will serve U.S. President Donald Trump were seen on Hanoi’s streets Saturday.
A Boeing C-17 Globemaster III from the U.S.’s Yokota airbase in Japan landed at the Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi at 8 a.m. Saturday, carrying two presidential state cars called Cadillac One.
The aircraft also carried two Chevrolet Suburban cars and several dozen members of President Trump’s escort team.
From early morning, Vietnamese traffic police forces were on guard at the airport, ready to lead the U.S. convoy to the downtown area, where Trump is scheduled to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un next week.
The six-car fleet were then seen stopping outside the five-star JW Marriott Hotel in Hanoi's Nam Tu Liem District at 10 a.m. plus.
Five cars then left for gas refill at a station nearby before coming back to the hotel.
Cadillac One, dubbed as The Beast, is designed to withstand grenades and bio-chemical weapons. In addition, the presidential guard vehicle also has a night time driving assistance system and a private wireless network to protect the vehicle.
During the president’s overseas trips, the U.S. Secret Service simultaneously uses two Cadillacs to enhance security.
In the past week, the U.S. has sent several Boeing C-17 Globemaster III aircraft to Hanoi, carrying equipment needed for the summit, including a helicopter that President Trump will use in Vietnam.
U.S. special representative for North Korea Stephen Biegun and several U.S. delegations have also arrived in Hanoi for preparatory work.
The first Trump-Kim summit was held in Singapore in June 2018, but negotiations failed to make much headway owing to disagreements on the concept of denuclearization.

Driving from the Hanoi airport into the city, Beautiful roads.
I book a taxi through the hotel, the driver picked us up at the airport, very good service with no chance of being ripped off by the taxi which I was warned about many times on this trip, Taxi drivers have a bad rap. for changing the meter and charging a lot more than they should.

Laman Express Train - Hanoi to Hue, Vietnam
Laman Express Train - Hanoi to Hue in Vietnam.
Train #SE19 - we booked online with
We paid about £30 per person for the 4 berth cabin but were upgraded free of charge to the 4 berth Laman Express service.
We really enjoyed he service and would highly recommend it.
Train #SE19 -
Laman Express is a newly opened service provider run by a longtime partner of 12Go. While we can never guarantee 100% that every trip will be perfect we do highly recommend Laman Express over the other private train service providers.
*Laman Express uses only brand new train cars, never the older recycled Vietnam Railways cars and also provides a light food and beverage service. Due to the close partnership between Laman and 12Go cabins are never oversold and you will never be placed in a regular Vietnam Railways car as can happen with Violette and Livitrans Express.
Laman Express operates luxury private train cars with 4-berth cabins (VIP Sleeper 4x) and 2-berth cabin (1st Class Sleeper) for Hanoi - Dong Hoi - Hue - Danang. One can expect to enjoy a cleaner, calmer and more comfortable trip.
Please go to the Laman desk at the Mango Hotel (immediately to the right of the main station entrance) ONE HOUR before departure for check-in procedure
Tickets for 1st Class Sleeper must be purchased for the whole cabin (2 berths) while the 4 berths in the VIP Sleeper 4x cabins may be purchased individually.

10 years on, Nanning-Hanoi trains boost cross-border transportation, strengthen ties
A trip from Nanning, capital of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, to Hanoi, Vietnam, takes about 11 hours by the cross-border train. Check out what it has accomplished in ten years.
Hanoi City Morning Commute | 4K Motorbike Ride | LIFE IN VIETNAM 2018
This ride was filmed in Hanoi, Vietnam on a Friday morning around 9:15am. The main weekday morning rush hour (usually between 730am~830am) had died down by this point, so we were able to zoom through Hanoi relatively quickly. Normally during rush hour, a 20-minute ride like this can become 45 minutes or longer.
I was riding on the back of a GRAB motorbike. GRAB is a ride-share service, just like Uber. It's the main way I commute around Hanoi.
In this video, you'll see what normal traffic looks like, including lots of honking and lots of traffic violations. This is normal, daily life in Vietnam.

Hanoi Old Quarter - All You Need to Know Before You Go
Hanoi Old Quarter - One of the reasons that Hanoi – the capital city of Vietnam, has attracted so many tourists over the years. It is an area well-known for the history, the architecture, the enormous amount and diversity of products and even the everyday life of its residents.
The Old Quarter marked its appearance in the 11th century, when King Ly Thai To decided to build his palace. That means By 2018, Hanoi as well as the 36 old streets turned 1000 years old.
Today, the Old Quarter has become the unique classical feature of Hanoi, and the inspiration of numerous writers, poets, and painters, and one of the desired tourist destinations in Hanoi.

Pham Ngu Lao nightlife is also one of Ho Chi Minh’s finest, with throngs of street vendors, bia hoi stalls, lively bars, and downtown clubs filling up the lively scene. Interesting nightlife entertainment spots include The View Rooftop Bar, Seventeen Saloon, Go 2 and Crazy Buffalo Nightclub as well as many smaller pubs that are known for their cheap drinks and happy hour promos. It’s also common around here to meet friendly expats who are more than happy to share a few tips about travelling in and beyond Vietnam. If you want to immerse yourself in the local culture, we highly suggest getting up early and visit the parks within the area. It is interesting to see (and even to join in on) the elders participating in Tai Chi-like exercise sessions. Another must-do is heading to the morning markets such as Ben Tanh Market, where local vendors sell a wide array of fresh produce, household supplies, and Vietnamese street food at attractive prices. As Pham Ngu Lao is not such a large area, it’s the perfect place to explore on foot - the best time to do this is in the morning and late afternoon as the weather can be rather scorching at the height of the day. If you’re feeling adventurous, there are also travel agencies that can help arrange for day trips within the city centre and beyond.
