Wasana Fishing Park is the latest fishing park to open in Pattaya. It’s a new park operated by one of Pattaya’s top fishermen. As well as all the usual species found in Thai fishing parks Wasana Fishing Park is stocking all the Asian and Amazonian species like arapaima and Siamese carp but at much lower prices than other parks charge. Advanced booking on the telephone number below is recommended as Wasana Fishing Park limits the number of fishermen to give customers a better experience. The rental tackle is really nice quality, Wasana Fishing Park use IM7 carbon/graphite rods with Shimano Baitrunner and Diawa BG reels.

Species: Arapaima, Amazon red tail catfish (maximum known weight 16kg), Siamese carp (27kg), Jullien’s golden carp (11kg), Mekong catfish (34kg), tambaqui (11kg), leopard catfish (6kg), Asian red tail catfish (15kg), bighead carp (10kg), catla carp (12kg), black shark carp (5kg), pacu (14kg), gourami, alligator gar, rohu, walking catfish, common carp, Nile tilapia, striped catfish, albino striped catfish, silver barb

Outside baits: Pop ups, boilies, hook baits etc may be brought into the park but must be checked by staff prior to use. Ground bait must be purchased at the park.

Food and drinks: Thai and Western food available, no food or drinks may be brought into the park from outside

Castaway Fishing Park

Castaway Fishing Park here in Pattaya is a great way to spend the day. This beautiful location offers both beginners and experienced anglers the chance to hook themselves a few catches.

There are some impressive fish swimming around, arapaima (maximum known weight 15kg), Siamese carp (21kg), Mekong giant catfish (20kg), Amazon red tail catfish (5kg), alligator gar (8kg), catla carp (10kg), Jullien’s golden carp (3kg), mad barb (7kg), Chinese big head carp (5kg), blue masheer (2kg), pacu (8.5kg), giant featherback (4kg) to name just a few so if you can't catch a fish here then you really are in trouble!

Expert advice and coaching is on hand just in case your having fun with the one that got away so don't worry, you can relax, sit back and let the fish come to you!

Food and drinks: available, no food or drinks may be brought in from outside. A cool box of beer or soft drinks will be provided at the start of your day, you pay for those that have been opened. Thai food and basic Western food will also be available all day with a full restaurant specialising in Thai food from 4.30pm.

Other facilities: restaurant, no frills air conditioned rooms ฿500 a night.

Opening hours: fishing 8am – 8pm, restaurant open until 10pm

Today i am going fishing, Its been 10 years since i have fished and am going to enjoy the relaxation, Chilling out, Thinking and pondering, Its a beautiful place to visit with full amenities including food drink and toilets, All the equipment is supplied by the Park, All you need to bring is you and 1,000 baht for 1 carp rod and all the bait and gear. Meet some great people and catch some big big fish !

I have not been paid in any way for this film and i also paid for my days fishing and refreshments, Its not quite an advert its me trying to fish again and enjoying myself.

A wonderful day spent at Castaway Fishing Park (Pattaya, Thailand).

Ten fish caught for the day including an elusive arapaima on the last cast at 7pm. Other species included Julien's golden carp, Siamese carp, redtail catfish, giant featherback, paccu and striped catfish.

Well worth spending a day at Castaway for a few reasons:
1) Many exotic species (not just catfish).
2) Friendly English speaking staff.
3) You aren't hounded to buy extra items.
4) Private fishing stations equipped with good quality rods/reels.
5) Relaxing, tranquil and well shaded setting.
