Mackenzie Tour PGA TOUR Canada's Windsor Championship
The finishing touches are being made on the pristine greens of Ambassador Golf Club, the newest stop on the 2018 Mackenzie Tour PGA TOUR Canada’s Windsor Championship. Thanks to the founding sponsors of City of Windsor, WFCU Credit Union, Unico/Primo, Farhi Holdings Corporation, Ambassador Golf Club, LIUNA! Local 625 and Cypher Systems Groups for supporting such a prestigious golf tournament. The Windsor Championship will play host to 156 professional golfers vying for a $200,000 purse. Tomorrow’s top professional golfers will tee-off in Windsor, Ontario this summer.
The first annual Windsor Championship will be held at the Ambassador Golf Club July 2-8, 2018. It’s a stop on the Mackenzie Tour, a feeder tour for the Web.com Tour which itself feeds players to the PGA Tour. 156 players will compete for the $200,000 Windsor Championship purse. Proceeds benefit the Hospice of Windsor-Essex.

July dates for the Windsor Championship have been announced. This is the second year the Mackenzie Tour event will be held at the Ambassador Golf Club. Organizers hope to build on the success of last year’s tour stop, where golf fans can see the stars of tomorrow launching their professional careers. #yqg
