We kind of stumbled on to Ambleside Park in West Vancouver as we were returning from Horseshoe Bay along Marine Drive. It's a place we look forward to returning to when the weather warms up and everything is green. Love this area and it's so close to Vancouver yet somehow seems different. Maybe it's seeing Lions Gate Bridge and Stanley Park that gives the impression of being someplace different then Vancouver,

Ambleside is a neighborhood in West Vancouver on the North Shore of the City of Vancouver. Ambleside is a great place for a day out anytime of the year with sandy beaches, parks and playgrounds, coffee shops and boutique shopping along the high street. Right next door is the huge Park Royal shopping Mall which straddles both side of the main thoroughfare road called Marine drive which seems to be for ever expanding with new store construction.
