Grand Mama Sarah Obama Endorse the Safari Initiative
Grand Mama Sarah Obama the Grand Mother of U.S. President Barack Obama Jr. endorsed the Safari Initiative. The Safari Initiative is a plan created by 5 Time World Karate Kickboxing Champion Anthony Amp Elmore of Memphis, Tennessee. Elmore 1st traveled to Kenya in 1990 to promote his film The Contemporary Gladiator. While on Safari in Kenya during an over night stay at Massai Mara plains in Kenya, Elmore was touched by a spiritual revelation via his African Ancestors.
Elmore tells the story of how his African Ancestors encouraged him to tell African Americans to visit their ancestral homeland of Africa. Elmore believes that he was inspired by the spirit of the Great African leader Tom Mboya. Mboya met an untimely death by an assassin bullet in 1969. It was Tom Mboya who inspired the Airlift America project that got Barack Obama Sr. transportation to attend school in Hawaii.
Elmore created a plan called the Safari Initiative. Elmore uses Safari as an acronym that means: Styled African Family Application Renaissance Initiative. Elmore traveled to Kenya to ask Kenya President Uhuru Kenyatta to honor African Americans with a Formal State Reception. Elmore made his pitch to 5 African Governors and they all agreed to support the program. Luo Elders in the community of Grand Mama Sarah Obama informed her about Elmore's idea of inviting African Americans to come home to Africa for a Home Coming Celebration. Grand Mama Sarah passed word to Elmore that if he needed her help she would travel to Memphis, Tennessee to assist Elmore.
Elmore traveled to Kenya to hear the words of Grand Mama Sarah 1st hand. Grand Mama Sarah touched Elmore's heart when she told him that he was family of the Africans taken to America and that he was family. Grand Mama Sarah told Elmore that she was also his grandmother. She explained to Elmore about her orphanage in Kenya and she wanted to raise funds for her orphanage as well as to support the Safari Initiative. Elmore agreed that he would organize a fund raiser with a Church or with Churches in Memphis and she could also help kick off the Safari Homecoming Celebration in 2018 whereas African Americans will be honored with a Formal State Reception in Kenya. The Kentucky Headhunters: On Safari EPK
The Kentucky Headhunters: On Safari EPK (2016)
- NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 12, 2016) – With nearly 50 years of success spanning multiple genres, The Kentucky Headhunters are gearing up for the November 4 release of On Safari, available for preorder here. The southern rock, soon-to-be classic project tips the hat to family and the southern way of life. Click here to watch a behind-the-scenes video of the band in the studio recording On Safari.
On Safari, a Plowboy Records/Practice House Records joint venture, comes after several life-changing events for The Kentucky Headhunters. Band members Richard and Fred Young lost their father just three days before heading into the studio to record On Safari, causing the Headhunters to pour even more emotion into the record, which they have dedicated to the memory of their father.
Coming off the heels of their first-ever European tour, The Kentucky Headhunters are reinventing themselves yet again for their 12th studio album, drawing inspiration from their recent travels across the pond. The band credits Richard Young’s son, John Fred, and his bandmates of Black Stone Cherry for pushing them out of their comfort zone to make the trek overseas, where many of the Headhunters’ rock influences call home.
“What makes you weak, makes you stronger,” says rhythm guitar player and vocalist Richard Young of the band’s experiences together in 2016.
That quote seems to be the theme for On Safari, and southern rock fans can be certain of a strong showing by the GRAMMY award-winning group. Touted by Billboard as a “great American rock ‘n’ roll band,” The Kentucky Headhunters continue to bring their rocking, energetic live show across the U.S. and Canada, showcasing the one of a kind sound that has given them the longevity in this industry that many acts only dream of.
About The Kentucky Headhunters:
Known as “Southern Rock Royalty” and the “great American rock ‘n’ roll band,” The Kentucky Headhunters have maintained a longevity most acts can only dream about. With a GRAMMY® Award, two Top 10 charting albums, four consecutive Top 40 hits and countless other honors, The “Heads” are credited for creating a unique blend of honky-tonk, blues, and southern rock that appeals to the toughest music critics and listeners of all kinds.
Getting their start in 1968, brothers Fred and Richard Young and cousins Greg Martin and Anthony Kenney, from Edmonton, Kentucky, formed Itchy Brother, which later morphed into The Kentucky Headhunters after Kenney departed and Doug Phelps joined the band. Their first album, Pickin’ On Nashville, (1989), surprised the world when it became a major success, selling over two million copies.
Their 2015 release Meet Me in Bluesland, included the last vocals ever recorded of the late, great pianist Johnnie Johnson — Rock N Roll Hall of Famer and legendary keyboardist for Chuck Berry. The album reached the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Blues Album chart the week of its debut. It also garnered top placement on the Billboard Americana Chart. The band’s forthcoming Fall 2016 release On Safari is a southern rock album that tips the hat to family and the southern way of life.
The Kentucky Headhunters still tour extensively throughout the United States and Canada, and recently completed their first-ever European tour.

1st Honoring of the Obama's Legacy via Celebrating Tom Mboya's 60th
This video 1st Honoring of the Obama Legacy via celebrating Tom Mboya's 60th was produced, written and uploaded by Anthony Amp Elmore President and Founder of the Safari Initiative Foundation.
Anthony Amp Elmore 1st visited Kenya in 1990 to be part of the premier of his Memphis independent film titled The Contemporary Gladiator.
Elmore while in Kenya experienced a Spiritual Awakening as American President Barack Obama Jr. who wrote the book; dreams of my father. Elmore passion for Kenya lead him to believe that he connected with the spirit of Kenya leader Tom Mboya. It was Tom Mboya a 26 year old Kenya Union leader who came to America on his 26th birthday August 15, 1956.
Kenya at the time was a British Protectorate colony called British East Africa. Mboya dreamed of the day Kenya would be free of Colonization. Mboya understood that in order for Kenya to be a free nation its people would need an education.
While speaking at various Colleges via his sponsorship to America via an organization called ACOA or American Committee on Africa. Mboya asked College presidents to award Scholarships to Kenyan students. The Kenyan students also needed air transportation and living expenses while in America.
Mboya met industrialist William X Scheinman who sponsored many Kenyan students air transportation. Later in 1959 Scheinman and Mboya created an organization called The African American Student Foundation whereas the organization would charter an entire airplane to bring Kenyan Students to America.
In 1959 entertainer singer and social activist Harry Belafonte, Baseball great Jackie Robinson, and actor Sydney Pointer used their name for a leader to solicit donations for the 1st Airlift America flight in 1969.
Also in 1969 a 23 year old Kenyan by the name of Barack Obama Sr. arrived in Hawaii via one of the organizations scholarships. His air transportation was paid for by two Americans.
Tom Mboya in 1960 secured funding from the Kennedy Foundation via his meeting with Democratic Presidential nominee John F. Kennedy. Kennedy used his relationship of offering help to Kenya students part of his 1960 Presidential platform and he advertised pictures of him and Tom Mboya on marketing materials. The Mboya/Kennedy relationship contributed to Kennedy winning the 1960 Presidential Election that came down to the critical Black vote.
The legacy of American President Barack Obama Jr. starts with the Civil Rights movement in America in that Civil rights pioneers Bayard Rustin and George Houser started the American Committee on Africa that brought Tom Mboya to America that lead to the scholarship of Barack Obama Sr. in Hawaii in 1959.
This video was created by Anthony Amp Elmore who is hosting a 60th Anniversary Celebration at his home in Memphis on August 13, 2016. Elmore garnered the support of Memphis Congressman Steve Cohen who has communicated to various African Embassies on Elmore's behalf.
Elmore is asking Kenya President Uhuru Kenyatta to honor African/Americans with a Formal State Reception in July of 2019. Tom Mboya was assassinated in Kenya on July 5, 1969. Elmore desires to organize a 50th year celebration in Kenya honoring both the legacy of Tom Mboya and that of Black culture and history.
The public is invited to the August 13, 2016 celebration at his home in Memphis. Elmore's goal is to set the record straight that the legacy of President Barack Obama Jr. starts August 15, 1956 with Tom Mboya 1st coming to America. Elmore name the celebration Tom Mboya's 60th.

The cubs will stay at the zoo until they're about 18-months-old before being sent to other zoos.

Mike, Eric and Chrissie are Sumatran tiger cubs.

The trio seem a big hit with visitors to the zoo.

The cubs were born just over three months ago and are the smallest surviving sub-species of tiger.
As they chase one another through the bamboo, their mother keeps a watchful eye.

The head keeper recalled the time that they were born.

SOUNDBITE: (English)
The most fun part is getting it over with. I mean, it's pretty stressful going up to the birth. I almost felt like it was me having the cubs, or being the daddy, you know.

With fewer than five hundred Sumatran tigers alive today, the genes of both mother and cubs are highly prized.

We consider these tigers, first of all, ambassadors to the wild tigers. And we consider them an insurance policy by maintaining the best possible gene lines that we can, and the best maximum genetic diversity that we can.

One day the zoo hopes to introduce the offspring of these Sumatran tiger cubs into the wild.
But for now, these youngsters are just making the most of the moment and enjoying all the attention.

Kickbox Champion Anthony Elmore Letter to President Obama
On Friday October 5, 2018 5 time World Karate/Kickboxing Champion and community activist Anthony “Amp” Elmore wrote a letter to President Obama titled “Re: Challenging the barriers and Distance Culture between African & African/American Relationships.”
Elmore who was a youth activist dreamed always of visiting Africa. Elmore’s dream was realized when he visited Kenya in 1990.
Elmore traveled to Kenya to Premier his Memphis made Independent film “The Contemporary Gladiator.” While in Kenya Elmore experienced a Spiritual awakening. Elmore made the goal of bringing Africans and African/Americans together. Elmore realized that many barriers and distance culture exist in connecting Africans and African/Americans.
Elmore took groups to Kenya for over a decade. He married a Kenyan wife in 1990, while they are no longer married they have a 20 year of son Anthony “Amp” Elmore who is 1/2 Kenyan. Elmore met Kenya President Daniel Arap Moi in 1992; whereas Memphis elected its first African/American Mayor Dr. W.W. Herenton. Mayor Herenton wanted no association with Africa.
Many African/Americans have been conditioned via stereo types to hate Africa. Moreover we African/Americans learn the worst about Africa. It was in 2008 via the election of Barack Obama Jr. as America’s 1st Black President where the revelations Elmore experienced came together. Elmore realized that it was the spirit of Kenya’s Thomas Joseph Mboya one of Kenya’s Founding fathers that awaken Elmore’s spirit.
Mboya was assassinated in Kenya on July 5, 1969. The Mboya history and legacy did with him in 1969, but the spirit re-emerged via the election of Barack Obama Jr. It was the African visionary Thomas Joseph Mboya who started a program called “Airlift America” in 1959 whereas 81 Kenyans came to America. One of the beneficiaries of the program was 23 year old Barack Obama who came from Kenya to go to school in Hawaii.
The legacy and history of Thomas Joseph Mboya makes him the most significant and nfluential African to influence American history and culture. Elmore picked up the banner of both Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Thomas Joseph Mboya and along with two Kenyans Richard Kiptoo and Aggrey Asava will travel to Kenya to promote Elmore’s Safari Initiative whereas they ask Kenya President Uhuru Kenyatta to honor African/Americans with a “Formal State Reception” in 2021.
The are also are promoting the idea of the “Tom Mboya/Dr. Martin Luther King Education and Cultural Center to be built in Nairobi, Kenya. While Elmore got the support of Memphis Congressman Steve Cohen who wrote a support letter the Kenya Ambassador ignored the Memphis Congressman’s letter.
Elmore wrote his October 5, 2018 letter informing President Obama of the conditions. Elmore took the Obama letter word for word and created this “You Tube Video.” For more information visit the website homecomingcelebration.com. Reach Anthony “Amp” Elmore via email: anthony@elmorecarpets.com

Report on ESP / Cops and Robbers / The Legend of Jimmy Blue Eyes
Extrasensory perception (ESP) involves reception of information not gained through the recognized physical senses but sensed with the mind. The term was adopted by Duke University psychologist J. B. Rhine to denote psychic abilities such as telepathy, clairaudience, and clairvoyance, and their trans-temporal operation as precognition or retrocognition. ESP is also sometimes casually referred to as a sixth sense, gut instinct or hunch, which are historical English idioms. It is also sometimes referred to as intuition. The term implies acquisition of information by means external to the basic limiting assumptions of science, such as that organisms can only receive information from the past to the present.
Parapsychology is the pseudoscientific[1] study of paranormal psychic phenomena, including ESP. Parapsychologists generally regard such tests as the ganzfeld experiment as providing compelling evidence for the existence of ESP. The scientific community rejects ESP due to the absence of an evidence base, the lack of a theory which would explain ESP, and the lack of experimental techniques which can provide reliably positive results.
Vincent Jimmy Blue Eyes Alo (May 26, 1904 -- March 9, 2001) was a New York mobster and member of the Genovese crime family who set up casino operations with mob associate Meyer Lansky in Florida and Cuba.
