Yokohama Cosmo world Full Park Tour
Yokohama Cosmo World is an amusement park in the center of the Minato Mirai district, and includes the giant Ferris wheel that is a prominent feature of the area's skyline. It is inexpensive, and extremely family friendly.
Cosmo World is divided into three zones according to age appropriateness, and is located on both sides of the Ooka River's mouth into Tokyo Bay, with a bridge connecting the mainland section with the Shinko Island section. With its waterfront view on all ends, Cosmo World is scenic and beautiful by day, and its brilliant lights make it a romantic place to walk at night.

Vanish rollercoaster in the water Yokohama Japan HD
Video of the Vanish rollercoaster at Cosmo Land in Yokohama, Japan.
The amusement park itself is small, but it was a good excuse to pay a fleeting visit to Yokohama. The Japanese rollercoaster goes into a tunnel in a pool of water as jets spray up. It's quite fun, and something different.
I originally uploaded this to my old YouTube account, antzero. This is it's new home, I can't delete the old one. Humph.

Japan Trip: Hiking Mount Takao, and the Cup Noodles Museum in Yokohama - Episode 3
There are lots of things to do in Japan! Hiking a mountain - I almost died... ;) We went to mount Takao and experienced the non-Disney way of going back down...
Close to the metropolitan area of Tokyo is this very international area called Yokohama. There are lots of cool things to do in Yokohama, like the CosmoWorld amusement park, the Cup Noodle Museum, and more.
The Cup Noodle museum is really fun, and you get to customize you cup noodles, and take home your own creation! CosmoWorld is a compact but great amusement park featuring a crazy roller coater that dives inside a pool. It also has a huge ferris wheel. It looked huge until we went up the Yokohama Landmark Tower. The views from the tower were incredible! It mede the ferris wheel look tiny. We could also see from the tower the Intercontinental Yokohama Grand Hotel, a post card worthy building that sits in the middle of the city.
Thank you so much for watching, and hope to see you on our next videos!

Japanese Highway Food Challenge ★ ONLY in JAPAN
Japanese Highway Service Areas or Rest Stops are quite amazing and in this episode we’ll look at one of them that has a food challenge! Tomobe SA in Ibaraki Prefecture has a restaurant that has taken the highest mountain in the area and turned it into a dish. Mount Tsukuba is 877 meters high, but as food, it looks steeper and more intimidating. 16 long cuts of grilled pork cutlets smothered in a savory sauce on a bed of shredded cabbage and rice weighing more than 1kg (2.2 lbs). It may not be as big as some food challenges like the 2.2kg (5 lbs) Monster Gyoza in failed to eat in 2014, but it is still an interesting dish. It costs 1700 Yen ($15) for the set with miso soup and some pickles.
Eaters can simply order it from a vending machine and it takes about 5-7 minutes to prepare.
Do you think you can take down Mount Tsukuba in meat?
Where is Tomobe SA?

Hiking The Sawtooth Mountain in JAPAN (日本語字幕)
Watch all the videos from the Japan 2019 trip here:
In this video from Robby's trip to Japan in 2019, Robby and his friend Darrell took a ferry to Chiba Prefecture (just south of Tokyo across the bay) to see Mt. Nokogiri (also known as Nokogiriyama or 鋸山), translated roughly as the sawtooth mountain. This mountain used to be a rock quarry in the Edo period (roughly 1603 to 1868), but now is a popular hiking destination.
The remnants of the stone quarry were a really cool sight, but there were a ton of other interesting Japanese landmarks including the hyaku-shaku kannon (a giant relief statue), the nihonji temple daibutsu (a giant buddha statu), and jigoku nozoki (hell lookout). After climbing up the mountain, you can take a cable car back to the bottom.

Suicide Forest in Japan (Full Documentary)
The Aokigahara Forest is the most popular site for suicides in Japan. After the novel Kuroi Jukai was published, in which a young lover commits suicide in the forest, people started taking their own lives there at a rate of 50 to 100 deaths a year.
The site holds so many bodies that the Yakuza pays homeless people to sneak into the forest and rob the corpses. The authorities sweep for bodies only on an annual basis, as the forest sits at the base of Mt. Fuji and is too dense to patrol more frequently.

Hiroshima Peace Park & Peace Museum - Japan Vlog
Visiting Hiroshima Peace Park and Museum - a day trip from Kyoto on the bullet train to Hiroshima and Miyajima.
Japan vlog about visiting Hiroshima. We saw the A-Bomb Dome, which is where the world's first atomic bomb was dropped, and the Peace Park and Peace Museum. See what it's like on the shinkansen bullet train between Kyoto and Miyajima.
The Peace Museum isn't an easy place to look round, but I'm glad we went. I didn't film too much inside the museum because it didn't seem appropriate, and it feels strange being there as a tourist destination. The Peace Park is lovely, with the paper cranes, sculptures and memorials. After visiting Hiroshima we went on to Miyajima, which was one of the most beautiful places we visited. It's a good day trip from Kyoto with your Japan Rail Pass - you can see more in my next video!
