kejimkujik with little wolf
In this video my son (little wolf) and I head to kejimkujik national park for 2 nights of camping.
we enjoy a number of activities from hiking waterfall trails to kayaking down a river. Late nights sitting next to the fire joined by friends were also a blast. I would also like to thank the generous viewer for sending my son his first fire steel as he loves it and a huge shout out to Bigspruce brewery out of Cape Breton for the package they sent me. Join us on this adventure. #kejimkujik #camping #kayak

McNabs Island by DJI Mavic Pro
McNabs Island is the largest island at the entrance of Halifax Harbour in Nova Scotia. Part of the McNabs and Lawlor Islands Provincial Park, McNabs Island is only a short boat ride from Halifax or Eastern Passage, but feels like a world away with its colorful past and unspoiled natural beauty.
Promoting and preserving McNabs Island’s many historical and natural features is the Friends of McNabs Island Society, a volunteer, non-profit charity.
Beyond hosting events such as picnics, nature and historical tours, the Society produces informative newsletters, a guide book, maps and brochures. It also works with Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources and Parks Canada to upkeep and develop park infrastructure on the island.
Dollar Lake Provincial Park
Situated on a large lake not far from the Musquodoboit Valley, the park is the perfect escape. The quiet woodland setting offers a wide range of outdoor opportunities, including camping, boating, canoeing, water-skiing, and fishing. A beautiful sandy beach at the north end of the lake offers fresh water swimming.
Dollar Lake Provincial Park is open from June 15 - Oct. 8 for the 2012 Season. The park has 119 woodland campsites, a picnic area, boat launch, and trailer dump station. The main beach is supervised during the peak season. The smaller campers beach is unsupervised.
Although there are no electrical hookups, water and vault toilets are conveniently located throughout the campground. Accessible flush toilets and showers facilities are also available.
Camping reservations can be made beginning April 2, 2010
Chignecto Ship Railway / Amherst Wharf - Fort Lawrence, NS - Part 1
Fly over of the Fort Lawrence, NS side of the Chignecto Ship Railway and the Amherst, NS wharf. Still learning to use the DJI Phantom 4 drone and forgot to remove the foam guard from the camera gimbal but it still did pretty good. Also didn't video quality went down as I had to convert the .mov file to .mp4.
