Niagara Cave in Harmony, MN
A trip to Niagara Cave in Harmony MN. It is truly a natural wonder.
The video I took does not do it justice and to keep the tours moving I could not take shots of everything there was to see. Some of it like the echo chamber is too hard to describe but it makes everyone smile. :) The lights out part of the tour is soooooo cool.
Oh, and NO bats. None, zip, zero.
I am not getting paid for this endorsement and I approve this message!

One cannot change reality by changing the words you use to describe reality. Look beneath the rhetoric, and glimpse the truth.
The Amish | PBS America
They came to America over 200 years ago to escape religious persecution. Settling in Pennsylvania in 1730, the Amish are perhaps best known for their distinctive approach to modern life, shunning the trappings of the 21st century and living as their ancestors did. But who are they? And what do they believe?
British filmmaker David Belton enters the closed world of the Amish, exploring their lives and examining the strict values (known as Ordnung) that they adhere to. Talking to Amish people, either within the faith or those who have left it, he explores their beliefs, with many facing excommunication for breaking the Amish code and being filmed on camera.
An intimate portrait of a deeply religious, closed and communal culture, THE AMISH offers a fascinating glimpse into a world rooted in the past.

I could not pass up this chance to get the Gospel into the hands of these Amish folks. They are very legalistic and trust in their works to see them to heaven. Pray that they would be impacted by the Gospel message. As they were leaving later in the evening the young man with the roller blades waved at me and smiled...

Amish life. Peaceful community live in harmony with nature.
Amish life.
Amish people live in America with totally different style of life then american. They keep and convey their traditions (those on my pictures live in Wisconsin ). They read, sing and pray in standard German, which they call Hochdeitsch. Mostly they use Pennsylvania Dutch or Pennsylvania German. They travel by horse and buggy. Sometimes they move from one state to another in such a situation they can use bus or train unfortunately planes are too modern for them. They get merry only between members. They don't have electronic devices or other conveniences. They usually go to sleep at 9:00 pm and wake up at 5:30 am. Simply people, very shy but hard-working. I always feel like I go back in time 300 years ago. It is amazing experience to meet the people who just want live the way how they lived long time ago and do not disturb anybody. Peaceful community live in harmony with nature.
Why do I visit them twice a year ?
Very simply reason I love their products like:
eggs, butter, cheese, honey, marple syrup, veggies and meat. They also make the goat's soap and great candies.

Spelunking Caves In Minnesota - Harmony Caves
Spelunking in Minnesota is so easy to do. Minnesota has lots of natural cave systems. Minnesota was a popular spelunking area for the gangsters in the early 1900's because of all the limestone and how easy it was to carve out. This cave system works its way about 1 mile underground. Niagara Cave is one of the largest caves in the Midwest. Spelunking is so much fun! Rated among the top 10 best caves by various nationally recognized organizations Niagara Cave features ancient fossils embedded in limestone that is older than the dinosaurs, a 60-foot (18 m) waterfall in the largest room in the cave, and a wedding chapel where there have been over 400 weddings performed since it opened. Outside the cave there is a gift shop, 10 acres (40,000 m2) of picnic grounds, an 18-hole mini golf course, and a sluice box where people can mine for gems and fossils.

Heart and Grain: John and Halee Wepking
America is facing a shortage of young farmers: farmers over 65 outnumber farmers under 35 by a margin of 6-to-1. At the same time, demand for organic and sustainably grown food is on the rise. The National Young Farmers Coalition and King Arthur Flour present a new blog and film series profiling three pioneering young grain farmers: While all farmers face challenges, the high start-up costs associated with grain farming can make it an especially difficult field to enter for new and young farmers.
The future of high quality, sustainably grown grains in the United States depends on the success of young farmers like John and Halee Wepking in Ridgeway, Wisconsin. John and Halee are farming at Bickford Organics and also have their own farm business, Meadowlark Organics. Follow their blog series here:
