What a great session on the famous Jetty! So much fishing action happens here. Great for kids and of course - fisherman. We went there to target Mackerel but you can catch Tuna, Jew Fish, Cod, Sharks, King Fish, Bonito - Just about any species I've seen been caught off this jetty.

Fishing at Amity Point, North Stradbroke Island
Just a short video. Some good team work here from the young ones to catch a feed of tarwhine at Amity Point on north Stradbroke Island. Most of the tarwhine we caught on this occasion were around the 28cm to 30cm mark. While there were no trophy fish, it was easy fishing and the kids had a ball. They are a good eating fish, and yabbies are a very good bait for them.

At Amity Point (Queensland, Australia), dolphins (Sousa sahulensis) are being provisioned from the local jetty - an activity that is illegal (and signposted as such) - yet the interaction continues unpoliced.

Amity Point, North Stradbroke Island, Queensland - people come to the jetty most afternoons to feed and pet wild but friendly dolphins who come right over to the jetty to say hello. This was shot on Saturday 8th December 2012.
